It still didn't stop ITV from focusing the minor post-race interview time on Lewis' incident rather than DC or anyone else's great drives. That aside, I found ITV's coverage of the entire weekend incredibly annoying as it was SO Lewis-orientated. It was as if his win last weekend gave them an excuse to go over-the-top with their already jam-packed Lewis-based show. The only bits I found remotely interesting and worthy of my attention was Martin Brundle's typically excellent grid walk and the race itself. Steve Ryder is seriously beginning to p*** me off with his Hamilton a*se kissing. I'm also very disappointed to see Steve and Mark back in the paddock after their one-off trip away from it in Monaco. Also, anybody notice how impressive they made his record of being the first Englishman in 39 years to win in Monaco sound? If they'd called him British, his victory wouldn't have been that impressive as DC last won there just 6 years ago. From a personal perspective, the BBC's coverage can't come soon enough.
This is just a general question rather than a criticism but was it just me or did James seem untypically quiet for the majority of qualifying? He did pick up towards the end of course when Hamilton was gunning for pole .
