Kimi will surely win the British GP. He hasn't won for four races (although he has set the fastest lap in each one of them!), and he desperately needs 1. I bet for him with Lewis taking second, Massa third and Kova fourth.

I think this time the weather can be a very decisive part for this weekend. The rain prediction for friday - sunday is very high. This could change a lot and the fans can probably see a great race. :)

If it stays dry Kimi will win! Why? Because he is in the best car and he is very good around Silverstone!

Hahah, last year he had his engine stalled right after the formation lap, not in qualifying! So he didn't start at the back, instead he started from the pit. Somebody must wake Felipe up. He's still sleeping :nosweat:

I think who is still sleeping is Hamilton, the beginning and end of this race was:
Grid........Driver........... Arrival ......Gap
2 ...... Kimi Raikkonen ........ 1 ......... 0
3 ...... Fernando Alonso ...... 2 ......... +2.4 secs
1 ...... Lewis Hamilton ........ 3 ......... +39.3 secs
4 ...... Robert Kubica ......... 4 ......... +53.3 secs
22...... Felipe Massa .......... 5 ......... +54.0 secs
8 ...... Nick Heidfeld .......... 6 ......... +56.3 secs
6 ...... Heikki Kovalainen ..... 7 ......... +1 Lap
7 ...... Giancarlo Fisichella... 8 ......... +1 Lap

Massa had qualify in 4th position but his problem relegate him to part from pits, IMO that this race could had been a 1-2 for ferrari, and Hamilton out of the podium.

Hopefully Raikkonen can win with his new engine. However Lewis did put together a fantastic lap during last weeks tests. Should be a great GP from start to finish.

Britain: Thursday weather update
3 July, 2008
Clouds featured prominently in the British skies as the Formula One circus gathered ahead of this weekend British Grand Prix in Silverstone. After a dry build-up to the weekend, rain is expected today, although tomorrow is set to be dry, hot and sunny. With practice beginning tomorrow morning, near-perfect conditions are expected, although some cloud will remain. Temperatures will rise to 21°C, the highest of the weekend, with a negligible chance of rain.

However, once we move into Saturday, the situation becomes very bleak. A large area of low pressure, currently to the west of Ireland, will make its way over Britain over the course of Friday night, bringing with it plenty of rain. Currently, there is a 70% chance of rain, although it's still likely that both practice and qualifying will be wet, with the hour of practice enabling the teams to get ready for qualifying.

That offending low pressure weather system will stay over Ireland and Britain for Sunday, although the morning in Silverstone could well be dry. Unfortunately for the capacity crowds, the rain will arrive in time for the race, with the dark clouds expected to remain well into the week. Thanks to the rain on Saturday and Sunday, temperatures will rise to a mild 18°C and 17°C respectively.
