Netherlands - Russia tonight. Can Russia pull off a big shock? Xyneid, you dont think another underdog can win the Euros do you? Like Greece 4 years ago! I would be amazed if Turkey won the whole tournament

Well Phil, I really don't know. As I said, our team plays something different. We could be champion or we could have been dead last and both will be understandable for us Turkish people. I couldn't even call it as a decent football. Indeed, nearly all our key players (Arda, Tuncay, Nihat, Asik, Volkan, Emre, Servet etc.) will be absent due to suspension and injuries. So, it's a lottery for us. Although my hope is very weak, I dare to say again it would be another match worty to watch :)

All people in our country tell that our team is sponsored by God :)

Germany should beat Turkey due to Turkey's team (or rather, lack of it), although [quote xyneid], they are 'sponsored by God'.

Russia have Arshavin who is such a beast in attack, but they have a, um, 'butterfingers' goalkeeper and Spain have Villa, Torres and Casillias. 'Nuff said

Predict: Germnay 3- 1 Turkey and Russia 2 -2 Spain, spain win after extra time

Yes, Germany should beat and I reckon Russia will also beat Spain. It's Germany - Russia final, I guess.

You know what, we won't even be able to use our 3rd substitution right 'cause we won't have enough player :)

Wimbledon 2008 Tennis Championship

Post by phil1993 » 24 Jun 2008, 17:15

BBC TWOs coverage of Wimbledon match between Andy Roddick and Eduardo Schwank. There is one slight [rude :p ] misfortune with their placing of the names in the score bar!!!

Clay -> Nadal rulez
