Bad luck for raikkonen again. he had a win in the bag for sure, but what a race for Trulli. nice to see toyota get on the podium. hopefully raikkonen will be strong again in silverstone.
Go Kimi Go!!!!
Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 French Grand Prix
you've got to love it when Massa wins as hes always so happy (that Brazilian attitude), unlike when Kimi wins. Poignant that Trulli got Toyota a podium under current circumstances with the death of Ove Andersson. Now theres gonna be biiiiiiiiiiiig discussion about Hamilton's penalty
Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 French Grand Prix
Hamilton will be soooo fired up for Silverstone. Ron Dennis not happy with the penalty.

Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 French Grand Prix
Actually in France you have nowhere to go when you try to pass there. The same was the case in Lap 69 when Trulli held on Heikki. I think Trulli took a huge risk of fending off the driver at that point. This kind of an incident took place in 2003, when Montoya fended off Barrichello in a Ferrari but the result was little different. Rubens lost places and Montoya was handed down a penalty. Since Heikki rejoined w/o losing any places i think its fair and square but just another cheeky racing incident. I don't know whether Lewis penalty is justified or not, but anyways he seemed to enjoy racing by overtaking other cars on the track w/o any concern of track position. His moves on Nico, Glock, twice on Fernando ... were pretty good.phil1993 wrote:you've got to love it when Massa wins as hes always so happy (that Brazilian attitude), unlike when Kimi wins. Nelsinho finally comes into the big league ! Finishing a race and more importantly finishing in points and just ahead of his team-mate. I wonder what's running in Flavio's mind right now !

Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 French Grand Prix
Since Lewis & Heikki aren't carrying any pre-race penalty into Britain, i guess Silverstone should a better prospect. I am confident that Mclaren can come back very strong in Silverstone. Heikki Kovalainen was simply amazing ! Handed with a 5 place penalty and still manages a 4th with almost sticking his nose on to the podium. I wonder where he is gonna take his first gp win ? Probably Hungary or Belgium ?phil1993 wrote:Hamilton will be soooo fired up for Silverstone. Ron Dennis not happy with the penalty.
Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 French Grand Prix
Piquet is still only 17th = in the championship though, but it is a welcome confidence boost, especially beating Alonso (relatively) fair and square
