How do you stay awake?

Post by jonyq » 08 Jun 2008, 11:29

I hope this is in the right section...

For those of you who watch F1 at the races where its late in the night, how do you stay awake till the race and through the race?

Those North American races really kill for where I am... 1am till 4am...

The Aussie GP has never been a problem for me either. The first race of the season - I'd been waiting for months for it, there's no chance I'd sleep through it!

The Canadian GP is broadcast at 12am until 2am here
That's not a big problem for me, because generally I sleep at 1am :cheezy:

The excitement for the first race of season which is really the only early morning one keeps me awake. And coffee of course during ITV's adverts.

Will power keeps me awake  . I don't find it difficult unless the race is horrendously boring. One such an example for me personally, was Malaysia this year.

In India race starts @ 10.30 today & for Brazil .. no problem whatsoever!
iirc US Gp used start @ midnight .. majority of them start @ 5.30pm.

I find interesting to stay awake ..normally its not needed here

Well, 6am :p. If you haven't had a lot of sleep though, staying awake can be just as difficult . Especially when James Allen's commentating :tired:
