It is to bad that SA is falling apart, would have been nice to see them get things together. You don't want to see teams struggling its nice to see the whole field be competitive.

The technical challenges of Istanbul Park
The anti-clockwise direction of Istanbul Park, with its eight left-handed corners, has no direct bearing on car set-up. However, as with any racetrack there are several key moments on the lap, the most significant of which is Turn 8.
he cars and drivers pull up to 5G for seven seconds through this triple-apex left-hander, making it one of the most physical corners in the world for the drivers. The minimum speed through here is 250kph (155mph), but that’s not the reason why it’s a key corner from a technical point of view. A mid-corner bump, when the car is fully loaded, forces the engineers not to set the ride height too low and that punishes the car’s handling through other corners.
A pre-requisite for a competitive lap time at Istanbul Park is good car balance because there are a number of 180-degree corners that reward good handling. Then there’s the slow left-right-left sequence at the end of the lap that leads the cars back onto the pit straight. The braking point into this section sees the cars slow from 300kph (186mph) down to 80kph (50mph), which makes it the best overtaking point on the lap.

The weather is sunny right now but it was raining heaviliy 2 or 3 hours ago but i predict %80 chance of rain in Saturday and %60 for Sunday it'll be exciting race..

i'm not turkish, but i think they should give it a name that represents turkey, like the Bosphorus (i think thats the river, correct me if im wrong)

I actually think it's quite obvious that a Ferrari will win.
Last year Felipe Massa dominated the race. He and Räikkönen will fight for the win, it will be really interesting to see how will be better. Massa makes many mistakes, but WHEN he drives a race and wins, he drove perfectly (---> Bahrain).

with turkey seeming to have various turn one incidents at the start of the race, do you think Vettel a will once again hit someone at turn 1 and retire before the end of the lap (Aus, Bahrain, Spain)....and what about Vettel!

Vettel was very unlucky in 2008. Poor boy. He MUST have a good sarting position, at least top 10, so he needn't drive through all the traffic and hit someone.

Yes Phil, it's Bosphorus. And that will be really a good one but I think there must be so many races left behind to give a particular name. Maybe there might be a very distinctive incident (I don't mean crashes or accidents) in future and that would be given to Turn 8 to commemorate it.
As I said before, in this season, I think races will be very boring and pre-determined. McLaren and BMW both have to find a few tenths in order to catch Ferrari. While, Ferrari will also improve their race pace. If Ferrari, in Monaco and Montreal which are comperatively low-speed circuits, would be as dominant as in Bahrain and Spain, that would really be an indicator that Ferrari will clinch both titles. Last year, they couldn't compete in these tight and twisty circuits.

if Ferrari dominates it will be Massa`s turn, he's always very strong in this circuit, he won it last year and i think it was here too when he beated Schumacher all the weekend a couple years ago. Vettel`s luck will have to change someday and if it rains maybe he could score points. About that corner, why not name it as "Sofuglu" ( SBK rider; SS World Champion) ?
