oooh, thats tough. you can't judge at this stage, we've had only 4 races. nakajima looks the most obvious, but hes very erratic, as is piquet, but i think he will come of age. Timo has been outclassed by trulli and bourdais is in a worse team than nakajima and piquet and his australia drive was worthy of a podium

Bourdais is a rookie, but Nakajima and Glock have raced in F1 prior to this season so technically they're not rookies. Still, none of these four have really impressed me so far this season. :? Bourdais did well in Australian GP avoiding the chaos, but after it's been pretty low key performance for him.

I'd say it is between Nakajima and Glock, but too early to really discount the other two; by mid season we should have an accurate picture.

How can you talk about a rookie of the year when we only have hade 4 races?

I think Bourdais has done very well... compared to Vettel, who was posed to be the next Scumacher. So far I would say Bourdais.

Got to agree with that, and if "not full season" counts, Vettel is also a rookie.

Agreed Bourdais hasn't raced in F1 but his seasons in Champ Car means his racecraft is (or at least should be) much better than a rookie's. And Nakajima only did ONE race in 2007.

I'd go for Piquet and Nakajima as rookies, the others are not.

Everyone has had past experience from other series so if we talk about F1 the rookies should be the ones who haven't driven in F1 before. Some drivers get to F1 early, some a bit later, but IMO it's not feasible to count other series in this as they're still quite different.

Surely if Bourdais has never raced in f1 then he is a rookie. If Raikkonen moved to IndyCars he would be considered as a rookie

I would have to say Bourdais, he did well in Australia but things seem to have gone down hill for him. He has the talent but at the minute he is unable to show it due to one thing or another.

I would rather wait a little bit more to choose the one which impressed me most. Till now, none of them, although Nakajima has a slight advantage when compared to the others imo.

Yes, technically speaking you are right, of course.

I give in, Bourdais is a rookie!

Will wait a bit before I vote though, it's too early to say who's the best IMO.

Yes, Bourdais and Piquet are rookies but not Nakajima and Glock. And if they are on the list because 2008 is there first full season, why ain't Vettel on the list?

I say Bourdais, i think he has been solid. Judging on what i have seen already this season i dont think it will be piquet! :)
