He could have a broken leg, quite lucky today, it is a really fast corner. Similar to what happened to Hamilton last year in the ring, this tyre problem.

Go, Kimi! Great quali yesterday, with more fuel than Massa and then did the job on raceday. Me happy
BTW, he and Felipe seem to be getting along quite well despite what everyone thinks, did you guys see them joking around in the press conference? osweat:
Felipe, solid job too, there wasn't much else he could do today, but he handled the pressure from Hamilton in the end quite well.
Hamilton did the max today, finishing behind the 2 Ferraris, his race wes pretty much defined after passing Kubica at the start. BTW, what's wrong with BMW's start system? They've been struggling with it for some races now.
Heikki  , OMG I was so scared when I saw on TV that the front of the car had a big hole in it, it was a really ugly crash. Hope he's ok and will bounce back in Turkey.
Sad for Alonso, but he seemed quite upbeat about it in the interviews and he was happy that atleast the car made a big step forward in performance. Hope to see him near the top more often from now on.
I thought it was a good race, definitely better than the ones in the last years at this circuit

Oh God, I hope not although the first thing I thought about after seeing that crash and the hole in the floor of the was that he could have hurt his legs. Touch wood and anything else I have around me... Hope to hear some more news soon.MP4/4#12 wrote:He could have a broken leg, quite lucky today, it is a really fast corner. so, 48% of voters were right about the race result, well done
Re: 2008 Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix , Gran Premio de España
Congrats to Kimi & Ferrari, faultless job today! IMO Kimi/Ferrari already have this year's championships in the pocket. And well-deserved if so, they are miles in front of all others.
Hamilton drove a very good race, no mistakes, he was cool and he got the best possible from his car without overdriving.
Alonso was good while it lasted, but it's a bit comforting that the Renault looks to be a bit better now. Not so comforting that reliability seems to be bad, though.
Main thing is however that Heikki is OK. I was really, really scared there.

Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Yeah First 2007/2008 Grand Prix topic with 38 Pages , you are our star coz you opened this topic lolphil1993 wrote:so, 48% of voters were right about the race result, well done
Re: 2008 Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix , Gran Premio de España
why am i "the star"- do you like it when its soooooo long- should we have a poll like that in every topic eg: will vettel finish, will dc crash!!!!!! or simply who will win would be better
Re: 2008 Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix , Gran Premio de España
Yeah DC always has a crash with somebody. That makes of a nice prediction question. I also wonder what's going on with Vettel. I know that it's difficult to start from the back of the pack, but Fisichella has done relatively good job so far. Vettel was supposed to be the star of the future, but he isn't really impressive at the moment. :?
Re: 2008 Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix , Gran Premio de España
maybe best rookie should be replaced by will vettel retire or will dc crah, seeing as in bahrain and here there werent really any 'best rookies'. Vettel is having a similar thing to liuzzi last year where he kept retiring at the start of the season and do you remember Villeneuve in 1999 not finishing until round 12 or 13!
Re: 2008 Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix , Gran Premio de España
Apparently there was a communication problem with Toyota accidentally calling Jarno into the pits again just after his 2nd pit stop costing Jarno 6th place
Re: 2008 Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix , Gran Premio de España
i think some people from the back of the grid had some luck with frontrunners having bad luck (Heikki, Heldfeild)
As I walked through it Sunday evening, I couldn’t help but be amazed by the scale of this operation and the thousands of man hours that go into entertaining us for a couple of hours, 17 times a year.
