In my opinion Robert have more fuel than Kimi, Felipe and Fernando. Fernado have least of all. He want to do show for Spanish fans

F1 official site: Alonso aims seventh place in the race. He said it`s a realistic goal, to think about the podium would be unreal and to optimistic.

Alonso will push hard if he is light on fuel load. Which would shake someone like Massa

Last year Alonso had three laps’ less fuel than his team mate for his home race and gambled his race on starting from pole. But it all went wrong when he clashed with Massa at the first corner and dropped to fourth.

Massa has this attitude to buckle under pressure. So if Kimi runs away with the lead and Alonso sticks his nose to second, then we can see Massa probably making mistakes. He was quick, but he is vulnerable too. The third sector is where Massa is likely to make mistakes. Seems like only Kimi has mastered the third sector. All other drivers are just hoping that they won't slide around in that place.

Alonso getting lucky is quite possible and i wont rule him out of a podium finish. Because there are many drivers who are under pressure to perform in this race & its possible like some accidents or safety car incidents can shuffle the race completely.

even tho im a huge raikkonen fan, i have to give props to alonso, def. pushed his ass off to get there. only .09 off Kimi's pace.

Also, Kubica is really showing wut he's got this year, 2 podiums to nick's 1. and now he's exactly HALF A SECOND faster than nick.

Well, pat symmonds admited that the front row was due to lack of fuel in his car, in other words even tho Renault knows that they wont finish on the podium, at least they wanted a front row start for the Spanish fans

The real question is if Alonso has enough fuel for the warm up lap..

I guess Alonso has fueled himself for 10 laps i believe. But that fellow can wreak havoc if he goes on to lead after the first turn. Even Kimi seems to be less on fuel by 2 or 3 laps to his team mate. 66 laps so i bet Alonso comes in at Lap 10-11 , Kimi 18-19 , Massa / BMW / Mclaren - 20-23 .. if they don't lose any part of their car !!
