Alonso is the best time, although with tyres slicks and the aerodynamic configuration for the next race, while schumacher is the turn with the setting to 2009.
Alonso this morning did 1.18.483
Alonso is doing today what massa did in Monday.

yeah, in 2009 these kind of things will be gone. Renault is ugly too, maybe they are going to put a sponsor in that wing.

If it makes the Renault go faster I don't care if it's as ugly as Ron Dennis...

It's won't be that easy, though. The nose design doesn't work if the car isn't designed to it so other teams might even get problems while using it. Of course it's another story what they'll do in the next seasons when they've reworked their cars.

True, it would give some months of advantage to Ferrari, specially next season without all the wings, a bad car won`t "recover" as easy/fast, the design will be crucial, and all this little details can make a huge difference on performance. But the top teams with all their resources and money would figured it out quickly don`t you think ?

Hello to all,

what is the use of setting faster laptipes on slicks.since testing has begun the last 3 days I have seen times using slick tires on the 2008 spec cars. I hope the last 2 days they do something on grooved tires with the 2008 spec cars. Totally confused. Maybe this can give a clear picture of how teams have progressed.
