yeah, i might take some earplugs... just to tone the volume down slightly. spa is just.... well, from tv its not as good as the v10 days, but watching the angle of the corner and the gradient with the cars rushing through the dense forest would just be awesome. i probably have JUST enough money saved to go on the practice day, but it would mean missing too much school.

If you like Spa that much, you MUST see this. The soundtrack ? HONDA V12 just listen the acceleration at mid cornering.

thanks for the link. i remember watching a video a couple of years ago when they went safety mad in 1994 after the tragic imola events- they made eau rouge almost non-existant by installing that crappy chicane at the bottom. i love the onboard cams of eau rouge and get fixed on it watching the whole lap

The race was fun, Lorenzo is really an amazing guy! I had hoped for Pedrosa to win but a second is good too (oh well..) I had expected Rossi to be stronger, but I have a feeling his tyres let him down last half of the race. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to switch to Bridgestones...

Pity that Dovi & Nicky crashed out, both looked like they could have challenged for at least top 5. And by now I almost feel sorry for Stoner, what is happening?
It is a wonderful place. Little history here: The circuit was built in the 70`s, and part of it is inside of a natural park, today it wouldn`t be possible to built it here. Those hills you see behind are protected land, where me and thousands of people ride mountain bikes, there are fire roads and a lot`s of singletracks(bike trails) and downhills . About the race i agree with you, those tyres let Rossi down, but it was his choice so....About Stoner i read today in the paper that the onboard camera got loose and it was hitting his left hand all the race, he used the straight line trying to put the camera back in place
Funny thing about those crashes, i was telling to a friend that Dovizioso would pass Rossi, he crashed right in front of us in the same minute i said that :nosweat: , so my friend tells me "It`s Nicky`s turn now, to pressure Rossi", and the guy crashes, after laughing we stoped talking :nosweat:
Yes it looks to be a fantastic place! And the mountains surrounding are absolutely amazingly beautiful.

True about Stoner, you could actually see him fiddling with something, but I had no idea it was the camera! Really unlucky.

And how much did Rossi pay you and your friend to give that bad karma to everybody that challenged him? :@:2

Especially the one with Dovi's bike in the air!

if it was you that took the photos (or your mate), then you did an excellent job, especially the one of dovizioso's crash. was that just lucky?

No i didn`t took any pic, this is from my friend`s camera. We saw Dovizioso going down, and that bike was trowned to the air several times, it seemed a slow motion thing ( beer side efects, maybe :nosweat: ?), so my friend puts up his camera and took a sequence of it. This one is the best of that sequence. But the crowd was great, it seemed a football match, when a player doesn`t score, it was like OOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH. One lap later, deja vu, Hayden`s turn, but my friend was so happy and proud of the 1st pic, he wasn`t ready for it. He spent the rest of the race with the camera pointed to that corner though, crazy people.
