The problem for new teams is that to build such an infrastructure is enormously expensive unless one has backing from huge and very loyal sponsors , as super aguri , Force India
A wind tunnel is an expensive operation to run - those teams with them would be reluctant to stop using them as we al know 6/10ths of a sec can be expensive and give that team the edge

yeah, as super aguri lost $40m as their sponsors refused to pay up- very unloyal. i think it was samantha kingz and then they lost giedo van der garde services, breaking down into $30m and $10m respectively. force india will get good- but a podium in 2010? a bit opotimistic

This GP is very important for Renault and Alonso !!

Hamilton will have to do a good GP after his very bad GP in Bahrain !!

But I think Massa will win this GP

You have to be optimistic otherwise there is nothing to fight for, for them. I dont think they will score a podium but you saw fisichella driving a decent race in Bahrain so there is progression so who knows.

First they have to survive till 2010, apparently something that is hard to do if you happen to own the former Jordan team.

Without taking in account Force India, Super Aguri and Toro Rosso, for this GP we have:

Fresh engine: Ferrari, BMW (Kubica), Renault(Piquet), Red Bull (Coulthard), Honda (Button)

2nd round engine: BMW (Heidfeld), Renault (Alonso), Williams, Red Bull (Webber), Honda (Rubens), McLaren.

I think the pole and podium will be cars with fresh engine, so:
Pole:Massa
Podium: Kimi-Massa-Kubica
4th-8th: Heidfeld, Rosberg, Webber, Kovalainen, Button
Fast Lap: Heidfeld

Out of the points with fresh engines: Coulthard (he will collide with somebody), Piquet (Renault don't have a car for points)
2nd round engine: Hamilton (to much pressure so he will make mistakes again), Alonso (Renault don't have a car for points), Nakajima (needs to improve), Rubens (he looks more like a rookie, than a record GP holder)

ForceIndia is still partially owned by Michiel Mol (ex-Spyker) so it’s not 100% an Indian team.
they’ve got a $120m budget this year
