yeah, kimi also had a problem with that in that race, but unlucky for him it caused him to go off and only finish 4th. montoya drove 3 laps with it, so i think that was his best performance in f1

My earliest F1 memory was at qualifying (or practise?) at Adelaide in 1995 when Mika Hakkinen had his massive accident. The reason i still remember is probably because of the cameras completely on Mika as he was being treated on the side of the circuit.

The first full race I saw was in Australia 1997, when Coulthard won.

The first race I remember really watching properly was the 1998 Belgian GP at Spa , although I do recall the Monaco GP that year - particularly Wurz and Schumacher .The sight of a 15 car pileup was really incredible to see and I also remember Michael Schumacher slamming into Coulthard and then going into the McLaren garage to confront him afterwards!.After that I remember watching the Italian GP a week later (Coulthard's engine blew and Hakkinen was distracted so Michael went from third to first at the second chicane).I didn't start watching it regularly until early 1999 though..

My very first memory is the start at Spa 1998 in Belgium, I was watching with my father (six years old) and wondered why these cars were all piling into each other :> First race I can remember seeing the full distance was Silverstone 1999 with Schumi breaking his leg.

I´m not sure which one it was but it was in 1995. Magny-Cours or Hockenheim.
