Hi everyone,
Nice to be here. I'm from Waterloo, Canada. I'm relatively new to F1 (I started following in the '03 season, when Schumi was dominating. Despite watching most of the races since then being decided in the first corner (even with McLaren bringing the fight to Ferrari - these two teams never seem to bring their best stuff to the circuit on the same day), I am completely hooked on the sport. I just can't bring myself to watch 6000 cars packed into eachother turning left for 2 hours (Unfortunately that's pretty much all we're fed around here).
Granted, lack of overtaking is a serious problem with F1, and everyone knows it (except maybe the FIA?), but it's more than that. 1 team is nearly ALWAYS the runaway victor on any given weekend. What gives me optimism however, is how quickly BMW is gaining ground. I'm REALLY hoping that increases the odds that two teams will fight for a win this year through an entire race. Maybe it will even happen in Montreal before my very own eyes!
