Re: Can't wait for Montreal.
I thought Kimi would make it to at least second. He had to keep the 3rd place for at least one more lap and then try to overtake Heikki.
I'm sure he will do better in Malaysia.
Good job Lewis

I'm also from Canada and plan on going to the Montreal Grand Prix. It's definitely our largest international sporting event and is very important to Montreal's summer economy for small businesses.
Hopefully Hamilton wins it!

Lewis rolled in Aussie. Hope he continues in Kuala, and can't wait to see him in Montreal.
Packages are not to bad. Your correct there.
We got section 33 for 226.00 per/ticket , Hotels are gouging abit, but we got rooms for 189.00 a night. Not to bad.
Enjoy your stay in Montreal. And yep! Lewis takes it in Montreal

I'm planning on being there too. Driving from W NY. Had GA last time, won't make that mistake again, sitting in the grass in 05 looking up at the section 34 seats. Looking at either 15, 22, or the first turn, 12. Have you (or anybody) had seats in those sections before? Hows the view? I'm thinking this year, especially, with no TC, first turn might be the place to be.
On a different note, any of you TO folks sad there won't be a Champ Car TO indy this year? Was there in 06. decent circuit.
Re: Can't wait for Montreal.
Hey there,
I'll be heading to "La Belle Province" for Grand Prix as well. Will be my first grand prix, so I'm jacked! Discouraging though to see my suspisions confirmed about how crappy GA seating is. Taking my pops with me so I didn't spring for the 800$ regular seating would have cost. Anyone who has GA experience in Montreal and wants to share some tips as to best places to watch, would be greatly appreciated!

greens99:
my only real advice it to get there very very early on race day, like a half hour before the gates open. I was there right at gate open, and by the time i got to my preferred site, it was already packed. I used saturday to scout out good locations. there is a very very narrow strip between two grandstands opposite pit, and across from one of the big screens, that has a decent view, but it is very narrow, like 50 ft across. i would recommend somewhere around the hairpin you can find some good view angles. bring plenty of sunscreen, as it can very very hot sitting in the sun.
In related news, just bought my seats; i'll be in the first turn. yay! finding a palce to stay was a a real pain, though.
