So you assume it wasn't Hammy's fault?

Lewis Hamilton :

“I am really disappointed and feel like I let the team down today as I always am the first to blame myself. The whole weekend has not been ideal starting with the accident on Friday, but I will keep my chin up and bounce back at the next race. I messed up at the start as I didn’t hit the switch early enough and therefore had not engaged the correct engine setting, and the anti stall kicked in. I lost a lot of places but things were still salvageable at that point. Then I had the incident with Fernando. I was behind him, and I moved to the right, and he moved to the right and that was it – a racing incident I guess. I am confident that we have the pace to be fighting at the front so the confidence is still there. I have had such a good run in Formula 1 until now, and it was almost inevitable that at some point things would go wrong. However there is a long way to go in the Championship and I intend to win it.”

That crash with Alonso was just Hamilton's own fault. Not Alonso's.

Why do we have some things in seperate theads? Over at the sportnetwork ferrari board, we have almost everything in one thread. It might get a little longer thread, but everything can be found at 1 place.

Agree!! every racer must defend their place n wont let other ppl pass them. This is hamilton own problem cant pass other racer. That mean his skill still need to improve. Compare to Kimi at Suzuka 2005, he start with 17th place but he win the race finally. He also pass other ppl 1 by 1 include alonso n schumacher.

Btw, great jobs for ferrari n bmw. now bmw is strong enough to fight with ferrari n mclaren. it will make the race more exciting.

sorry for bad english.....

Hi, All

to me, its quite a boring race again as seeing Ferrari 1 2, but good news is seeing BMW coming so strong... at least makes the race much more interesting to see..

Yep, Renault is totally lost.

How many points Kovalainen had last year after three races?

Kovy had 1 point after first 3 races, Fisi had 8 meaning Renault had 9
this year alonso has 6, Piquet 0, Renault have 6. so they are 3pts down already
