Hamilton's 2nd mistake this weekend. He was going to the right, but not enough. Alonso was lucky that his tyre didn't blow up.

Good win from Massa. I really enjoyed Kimi at the start of the race, fighting with Kova and Kubica and overtaking Kubica. I didn't see him overtaking Kova though.

Anyways it was an eventful start. Later on after the 1st pitstop the race went boring. I had a little hope for Kimi to overtake Massa through pitstops, but Kimi didn't have a good weekend. Bahrain doesn't suit him at all. But I'm satisfied, he leads the championship now, so after all it was a good weekend.

I quite aggree with Lilellatho...
I watched Hamilton doing those finger things on several drivers that he passed...
He was behind and by no chance they should let him pass without a fight.
I really like that Giancarlo didnt let him and do whatever he could.
When he finally managed to pass Giancarlo did that finger gesture again...
Not very good in my opinion, especially if the team tried to defend him. :tired:
Racing... Because football, basketball, volleyball... Requires ONE ball!!!

I agree, it just looked odd. Need to see a replay though. But it just seemed that Hamilton just rammed into him, not even trying to avoid him.
Mclaren says they think Alonso did something wrong but they dont want to protest it because there is no point
BTW, did you notice Ron's face after he saw that incident? :nosweat: It was on the ITV highlights at the end of the race. Quite, erm, interesting. :p
Yeah check this also :p

Yeah, Hamilton's gestures were indeed pretty odd as he was fighting for positions. I understand if there had been blue flags and he had been overtaking lapped cars, but it wasn't the case. Alonso was pretty frustrated too with Glock. Those guys are probably too used to driving in the front that they forget there can be fierce competition behind too. Fisi did a nice job with his Force India.

Lilellatho wrote:Ok guys, I'm not bashing Hamilton, but WTF was with all those hand gestures at Fisi and the other guys he was passing at the back? You're racing for position dear Lewie, what, do you just expect them to invite you through? Sigh...

good point mate, I was like "wtf?" when he was doing that. I laughed when davidson "opened a highway" to hamilton pass when they were racing for position. :P

I know, its Hamiltons fault that he was battling with the back of the pack.

Trulli and Toyota are doing a good job at the moment.

but it was a boring Race Nothing special

yeah, second time in a row Toyota is the best of the rest. Truli is really driving solid races although he is mostly criticized as being a quali driver lacking race concentration and necessary long distance pace... kudos to him also

Most teams will have upgraded cars for the Spanish GP and this is where Toyota fade usually begins

You know the whole Button/Coulthard incident, is it me or is it almost the same as what happened with Coulthard and Massa?

I mean, Button said he shoulda checked his mirrors, and from buttons onboard, it looked like there was enough room then coulthard just closed the door, similar to massa.

Maybe Coulthies getting abit lapsy?

All I can say is, congrats to BMW for winning the constructors. Kubica's done well for himself as well. Hope he gets more podium finishes =) Anyway, go BMW!!!! hehehe oh and I guess Massa really proved that he's fast afterall.
