Yep, they must have messed up with the proxies.

Poor Williams drivers couldn't manage to record a laptime due to (as far as I can understand from German commentary) technical problems, so did Nick Heidfeld.

McLaren have front wheel cover on and -if I'm not mistaken- the tip of Ferrari's nose has a small hole.

We have one red flag due to Nelson's spin. Lots of drivers went a little bit off the road including Hamilton, Raikkonen and Alonso. Raikkonen did his best time in the last ten minutes with all other drivers were also on the track. It was such a lap that all best sector times were also of Raikkonen's. Go Kimi :)

Heat is back!

Don't know what you are trying to show there, Paul...

So, we have a 2 team race on our hands (which we already knew from testing).

But what happened to the Williams cars? Did their technical problems affect both cars? That doesn't sound too good

The Eurosport Franceguys said Heidfeld had a hydraulics problem. Hope they can fix it in time.

And did Coulthard have an engine blow? The signal went off a bit at that time and I was confused.

Yet another spin for Piquet...: , he really hasn't gotten used with no TC yet :
Plus, his times were nowhere near Alonso's.

Anyway, thanks to everyone for all the links. The ITV stream was kinda choppy but it did the job. Now off to some sleep :nosweat:

I thought rather than breach copyright and screenshot, I just made my own spreadsheet. :nosweat:

Piquet is struggling with the cars balance it seems, to me anyway.

There seems to be some instability under braking is my vote.

I know how you feel, debating whether to stay up till the next practice, as I am not karting this weekend, I have extra energy! :nosweat:

But yeah, Piquet has some work to do on that car of his.. Balance, Aero and Brake Bias are my favourites as to what his problems are. If he is driving correctly that is! :nosweat:

Heidfeld had an electronical problem I think, Rosberg a gearbox one (if he has to change it he will be demoted 5 places, right? )

Williams and Piquet jr disappointing.

Toyota and above all Force India (Fisi! ) better than expected.

Alonso did what he could. @Hug Webber set his best time on softies.

But everything may change next session when they ALL start setting fast times on softies. As far as I could see none of the top teams has used them yet. :p

See you later gotta get some sleep now!

When the softies (:p) come out, the gloves will be off.

I can tell you just from karting experience, I've put some Senior tyres on my Junior kart, and the grip is fantastic, but they don't last long iirc. :nosweat:

In my kart I'm about 0.5 of a second faster thanks to the tyres, so I'm anticipating at least a 2 second gain on those tyres.

Piquet Jr had a spin? Didn't he mention some time ago about how easy F1 cars are to drive? :p :tired:

Don't mug yourself mate. They won't sandbag two seconds like that. Fantastically quick they are but they're not going to be 4 seconds faster than last year.

Yay Raikkonnen!!! :nosweat:  Flag:##
In my opinion, the Ferrari looks a lot better without the Marlboro bar codes.

Also remember how the Spyker looked like a Ferrari from a distance.
Now Force India looks like a McLaren lol :nosweat:
