Default Klien and Wurtz to Drive Peugeot

Post by iceman1 » 15 Feb 2008, 20:18

BMW Sauber test driver Christian Klien is to join Honda tester Alex Wurz and race for Peugeot at this year’s Le Mans 24-hour race. Wurz and Klien will team up with the French manufacturer's existing Le Mans line-up, which includes Marc Gene, Nicolas Minassian, Pedro Lamy and Stephane Sarrazin, for the annual endurance event, which is to take place in June.

Isn't Jacques Villeneuve also doing the event again?

He is out of NASCAR! Apparently he couldn't get any sponsors! :@:2 :@:2 :@:2

He should just focus on singing!:

It will be good to see Peugeot seriously take on Audi. I don't know why, but the drivers don't excite me much. There was a time when France actually had enough Grand Prix drivers to have filled those slots. Laffite, Prost, Arnoux, Jarier, Jabouille, Depallier, Pironi, Tambay all were great drivers of the late '70's early '80's.

It sucks that Montreal used to be at the same time as Le Mans. I think F1 drivers would definitely take part if it wasn't on the same weekend.
