It will be very difficult to predict who will take alonso's seat at mclaren...

but alonso may go to renault or toyota williams...

lets see what happens... i suppose alonso will try to get contract as soon as possible so he can be part of technical development

Jenson Button he deserves a chance with a good car and I think he could be a champion. Then we would have an English team with English drivers.
When you reach Macca, the only team left on the way up is Ferrari. since Briatore manages Webber and Alonso that Alonso may end up at Red Bull to satisfy the not going to a non manufacturer team and Webber going to Renault

the long expected has been confirmed.... I feel sorry for Alonso. &doh

I'm just wondering to what Alonso said about the equal treatment of macca. he did said that macca favoured hammi. and now he said that they were treated equally.

Is Alonso upto something? ''hmm'' I wonder what it is...

Yeah but contracts can be bought out, especially in Williams as they've done it before with Button for example.

That is my worry. cause I know that Frank Williams never leaves a cash making opportunity go by. And I prefer having Nico with us, rather than Fernando.

McLaren in no rush to fill Alonso seat

Obviously there are some drivers who've approached us who are contracted elsewhere and we've had to say we can't talk to them unless they can prove they are free to negotiate.
I don't think there are any good drivers around who wouldn't have a contract for next year already to be honest. So I think McLaren has to buy someone.

Button won't go to McLaren because two drivers of the same nationality on the same team doesn't do well for sponsors...

I don't see Button in a McLaren either.
Any driver who will go there, has to play 2nd fiddle to Lewis. So it's either a driver from an inferior car or a newbie has to fill in Nando's place.
