F1 Best Moment of 2007

Post by iceman1 » 26 Oct 2007, 17:47

It seems that we have been discussing winter testing yesterday and now the season is over :
It was a very eventful season, so what's your best Moment of this season?
For me :
Markus Winkelhock leading by 38 sec. on his debut
Kimi's coming through 17 points behind mission impossibles style
Sebastian Vettel performance in two wet races in Japan and China
the Fight between Massa and Alonso After the race :@:2

I love overtaking above all and the best moments were the ones with most overtaking. You can probably guess that the whole Fuji race was one of my favorites. The drivers couldn't really see anything there, but still some of them were overtaking like crazy! Probably Kimi overtaking DC and Massa vs Kubica battle were the best parts of that race. Massa's battle with Alonso in Nürburgring was fun, too. It was the kind of good old wheel to wheel battle.

In my opinion its gotta be every single time at the start of races when kimi overtook hamilton into turn one. It happened almost every time, and yet the itv commentators will at no race mention a word of this

This seems funny, but for me, the best moment of the 2007 F1 season would be the Malaysian GP - FA and LH giving high fives and embracing each other with joy as they finish 1st and 2nd. After that moment, who would think that things will end up this way. :@:2 :@:2 :@:2 :@:2 :@:2 !yahoo: !yahoo: !yahoo: !yahoo: !grin! !grin! !grin! !grin! !grin! !grin! @Beer @Beer @Beer @Beer @Beer

Heidfeld passes Alonso on the outside in Bahrain. Alonso returns the favor at Magny-Cours. Simply brilliant.

1) In China, when Hamilton got stucked into the gravel, poor Ron Dennis were trying to direct marshalls to push the car by pushing onto the screen :) That moment was so painful for Ron, I'm sure, but he's so funny at that moment.

2) In the podium at which Michael Schumacher (unfortunately) gave the team trophy to Ron Dennis who accepted it very proudly and happily. But I think so many people had missed this one gesture of Ron yelling to Alonso that he should pour the champagne onto Schumacher :) He was so childishly-happy on this occasion. It may be in Monza or Europe.

3) In Brasil, Lewis' slow down (maybe by a mistake of his own)

4) When Sato passed Alonso in Canada.

5) When Hamilton passed Kimi in Monza. That was very very brilliant, heroic manoeuvre.
