You tell us which GP to visit ! ! !
Ok is looks as though me and the missus MIGHT be leaving the country (uk) next season to watch a GP of our choice, money isnt a problem its the destination that is. HELP
I will be at silverstone anyway but will try to fit in another GP, we could easily do France but that is to easy and we could do that anytime, we also spend alot of time in spain during the summer anyway but not so sure about the circuit. idealy i want to do monaco but i do not want to stay in a hotel i would rather camp in my tent maybe 5-20 miles into the actual monaco GP if thats possible, if not maybe bahrain but i think the missus doesnt really want to go there though, but something tells me Spa would be the one to go to as the circuit looks so sweet.
theres plenty of time to sort out tickets and stuff but which GPs have you been to that you would recommend? Obviously we would prefer a great track but we also want to have a real good time with friendly people and drink lots of wine and beer and have really good time.

My favourite atmosphere wise was Imola. As the only Alonso fan in the sea of red tifosi fans i went in 2005 when Schumacher was closing down Alonso for victory during the final laps. The crowd were just MAD! Such a party atmosphere there, great to walk on the track afterwards too and also to see the Senna memorials at the corner and also a statue of him

I would love to see and sit amongst them i imagine it being a football stadium atmosphere, i guess you cant beat that atmosphere, last year i made friends with the brazilians, after qualifying they had the world cup on the giant TV screens around the circuit that was great hanging out with them they were a very nice bunch @Hug :T:@

A nice track where overtaking is possible or a track with some great history.
My guess, Turkey, Spa or Monaco (which can be great especially if your missus does not like F1)

Oooh noo, my missus loves F1 i think she knows more about it than james allen she can name all 22 drivers immeadiatly by the helmet and camera pod at the top of car she comes with me to the Gps but we are hoping to have a child middle of next year so i am going to Silverstone with the lads and will take her abroad later in the year for a GP as a mini break actually i think thats gonna rule out monaco.maltafan wrote:A nice track where overtaking is possible or a track with some great history.

Now that would be great but i would have to go as a 2 or 3 week holiday, i think that is going to happen as we have friends that are emigrating there so i reckon we will do that but give it a few more years yet.devereux wrote:go to melbourne, season opener atmosphere is awesome. plus the chicks in oz r mind blowing. the whole city is enthusiastic

You can find night life any time you like. When you're visiting a GP make sure that you enjoy the main part of it, not clubbing.dazmoffman wrote:Thanks, i reckon i could do a 7 hour flight for a good cause (any GP) :@:2 but was there any night life? i know thats a silly question but?jana7i wrote:if u dont mind the 7 hour travel time, go to Bahrain. the facilities there are AMAZING. i have been to all 4 Bahrain GP's.

I would really love to go to Bahrain or Monaco. Both must be pretty expensive.
For atmosphere I say Monza (as a Ferrari Fan :P )

damn right! melbourne is one f th best races on the calender in my opinion, not just because im a melbournian but is a great track and the atmosphere is great! you get Aussie V8 Supercars too! ^cool^devereux wrote:go to melbourne, season opener atmosphere is awesome. plus the chicks in oz r mind blowing. the whole city is enthusiastic
there are pleanty of things to do starting from about a month out from the actual race! very excitng stuff!
ive been to all the melbourne gps (96-present) luckily my dad is pretty big fan of F1 too so we host a corprate room at a hotel over looking the third sector, it equates to a magical grand prix experience, thats for sure!
have gone into the actual circuit a few times but great food and private room with plasma screen is very classy!
iwould have said monza though, there would be nothing better to be amongst italians belting out the national anthem after a ferrari 1-2 $peace
Thankyou Schumi you will always have a place in our hearts!

I think monza would be good it certainly seem like a favourable track with its atmoosphere and travel disatance and price so it might be the one to go and visit? Australia is a must but the timing might be all wrong for the coming yearWDC wrote:iwould have said monza though, there would be nothing better to be amongst italians belting out the national anthem after a ferrari 1-2 $peacedevereux wrote:go to melbourne, season opener atmosphere is awesome. plus the chicks in oz r mind blowing. the whole city is enthusiastic
