Re: 2007 FORMULA 1 Japanese Grand Prix-Fuji Speedway-
Kimi had some gearbox problem, If it's dry, Kimi should overtake Alonso at the start and then Hamiton at the pitstops

Re: 2007 FORMULA 1 Japanese Grand Prix-Fuji Speedway-
what a qualifying it was great job by Hamilton and Alonso...Alonso carried more fuel than Hammy around 2 laps, it's very important...He has better race strategy but he musn't let Kimi to pass him at start of the race..it'll be close and exciting race..i hope it'll be rainy race..Alonso will have the edge over Hamilton on race pace so we'll see what happens go MACCA!!
4ever McLaren...

Renault says they adjusted their set-up thinking it would be dry tomorrow.

Hey,
Well i'm new to the forum, so hi to everyone
The qually was @ 7AM here so i had to wake up and check online, and i admit i was surprised with the weather...
But it went OK, i'm a ferrari fan so i'm hoping for some better performance from Kimi tomorrow... don't know if FIA allows the teams to mess arround with the gearbox... so i guess they will allow ferrari to fix whatever was wrong with Kimi's car...
Everyone says they're preparing for a wet / drying track so i guess its gonna be fun tomorrow.
Vettel and Button were great today.
Everyone keep saying Hamilton - Kimi - Alonso are the best in the rain, but you have to give some credit to those guys considering the car they are driving.
So Vettel starts 8th tomorrow its gonna be fun watching how that goes, and how much fuel does he have.
My prediction is that Massa-Kimi-Alonso and Hamilton are both similarly loaded, maybe a lap different.

Hello Mate !grin! and welcome To F1zone Forum
Kimi lost 2 tenth/per lap because of the gearbox problem as the gearbox was running in normal mode due to a broken sensor, not in seemless-mode.
Ferrari gambled with the set-up as they are running less downforce in comparison to McLaren (like in Spa) and if it is dry tomorrow, it could pay off

Re: 2007 FORMULA 1 Japanese Grand Prix-Fuji Speedway-
the weather should be very horrible tomorrow. lots and lots of rain expected
Great qualifying from Button who knows with this weather conditions we might have a repeat of Hungary 06
