"Ferrari President dedicates win to photocopy shop employee"

Ferrari's President Luca di Montezemolo should have also thanked Coughlan's stupid wife! Profusely!

What a twit. And Mike, this technical genuis at McLaren didn't have a CD burner or printer at his home? He could have sent it to me! Hell, I've got 4 burners and a couple of printers sitting around idle most of the time. At least then I could have warned him that to exploit the different weight distribution and aero balance, they would have to lengthen the MP4-22 wheelbase, then re-certify and crash test the chassis with the FIA, redesign the bodywork to work with the new wheelbase, redesign the front/rear wings also, not to bother with lightening the gearbox,...

Oh yea...And they would have to do this in a couple of weeks time to start winning any races!

Oh my! The McLaren sure looks the spittin image of a Ferrari, don't it?

McLaren had a s*** year in 2006. Hey, but we can easily forget that in 2005 they won a majority of the races, and had it not been so unreliable to begin with, Kimi and the MP4-20 would have wiped the floor with Alonso and Reny.

Ferrari should revel with pride in their Constructors WC. !yahoo:

Stepney told the website Grandprix.com that the transfer of information between Ferrari and McLaren had not been one way, and that he received from Mike Coughlan details about McLaren's pit strategies, test programmes, fuel levels, weight distribution, and various other aspects of the MP4-22.

So to sum it up: everyone spies on each other in order to go faster. The only difference was that McLaren had documents from Ferrari to definitively get answers about Ferrari's cars.

Futhermore, I do not recognize the bulls** of the FIA/WMSC regarding the espionage/Hungary and therefore, McLaren have 202 pts. vs. Ferrari 170 pts. (at least in my private Idaho), in the Constuctors Championship.

"I have no idea how anything came into Mike's possession. I don't even know for sure that he has had documents. Do you know for sure? Categorically, he didn't get them from me" - Nigel Stepney 07 July 2007

FIA begins probe into 2008 McLaren (Next year's MP4-23 under scrutiny)

Part of the ruling was that the team's 2008 car, the MP4-23, must be inspected by FIA officials to either clear its legitimacy or face further sanctions, possibly including a negative initial points score.

The newspaper reports that the FIA inspectors this week examined computers and design records, and took away boxes of data for further analysis.

- they took it away so they can give it to Ferrari !grin! !grin! !grin! !grin! !grin! !grin! !grin! just kiddin' $peace $peace $peace !yahoo: !yahoo: !yahoo: !yahoo: !yahoo: !yahoo: !yahoo: !yahoo:

One of the most talked-about elements of the McLaren spy case was a special gas used by Ferrari in its tyres – in particular, an incriminating email from McLaren test driver Pedro De La Rosa to lead driver Fernando Alonso that revealed that the gas reduced the internal temperature and blistering.....

It's quite funny that in the second article Briatore says that he couldn't trust a company that was involved in a spying scandal. Good one Flavio!: &doh
Is this an old article or what?
