The race organisers at Hockenheim promised to apply an €11 (£8.70) discount for every goal scored by Germany aginst Brazil in the World Cup. They now regret taking this decision after Germany scored 7 goals !

Mercedes Executive Director Toto Wolff has suffered a fractured shoulder, collar bone, elbow and wrist after a cycling accident on Tuesday.

Wolff was cycling with other members of the Silver Arrows team along the Danube River when the incident occurred.

He has a point (as F1 teams don't have a direct influence in the calendar), but a lot of the time teams are partially responsible for other decisions. So if the sport worked on solving its problems, rather than creating new ones, there wouldn't be the negativity in the first place.

I agree and liked what Christian said. But I also found it a little hypocritical as every team boss is part of the issue around negativity and wasn't it his own driver that said earlier in the season that the current breed of F1 cars are "s***"?
