This kind of stuff makes the predictions a lot easier lol. Looks like both drivers of every team kinda got the best out of the car. Kimi didn't but he was hindered by the yellow flag right?F1EA wrote:Mercedes

Re: FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DE MONACO 2014
I think Hamilton has a lot more to lose than he has to gain by getting into these silly mind games. He's proved in the past that he is rather terrible at it, and his latest statements (both before and after Rosberg's pole) only confirmed it. He has a long way to go before even remotely beginning to compare with Senna, and he should leave it to others to draw the parallels.
Pace-wise, these two may well be more closely matched than Hamilton's streak of wins may suggest. Case in point, Rosberg did outpace him fair and square on the first run in Q3. He can claim all he want that he was on the "pole lap", the point is he was behind after one run, and that in Monaco, you can never rule out the possibility that yellow flags will ruin your lap.
Not that Rosberg isn't showing signs of cracking under pressure. He did lose the car into Mirabeau and was lucky not to smash the barriers. As for those who still want to believe it was deliberate even after watching it at full speed, I want to say that if he's able to pull a stunt like that, like purposely outbraking himself, steering to take the corner then aborting at the last possible moment, still somehow missing the wall... then he is a driving genius, fully deserving of pole and then some.

Re: FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DE MONACO 2014
@tgruener : Hamilton asked by @NataliePinkham if he has calmed down now, that he saw Rosbergs data from quali. Hamilton replied: "no"

I agree with your take on the mind games. Bringing up how someone was brought up was uncalled for, and strongly implying that he was convinced Rosberg binned it deliberately so soon after getting out of the car was ill-informed. It's in his hands, but he needs to have a wiser, more patient approach and just focus on his racing...

Pastor is stuck on the grid. Survival chances for everyone else just went up dramatically.
