Preview tidbits

*Rob Smedley is back on the pit wall for the first time this year, in Williams Martini colours

Mercedes will be using a new nose in China. Wolff said the nose used in the first three rounds was just a temporary solution.

@RenaultSportF1: The location of the Shanghai track provides an unusual challenge. The circuit is situated in an industrial zone next to several factories which leads to a high concentration of dust particles in the air. This could also affect track conditions and therefore tyre wear rates.

Who are the commentators? It's not James Allen nor Ben Edwards.

Felipe Nasr is with them :D

It's Jack Nicholls. His first F1 race weekend - he only started out doing commentary five years ago, has done GT stuff and F2.

Nice. I feel he's not comfortable yet. But his voice is loud which is good for me :D

Maldonado stopped in the same spot as Hamilton in 2007.
