As much as I like Vettel, I think you are over-exaggerating. Unless, you are not serious. :D

Hamilton's pole lap was just shown by Sky. Massive moment at T6-7, excellent car control.

Vettel is still a better driver than Ricciardo.

Rookie slays the Dragon while the Iceman melted.

That said Kimi's FB posts right hitting the wall after have been interesting to say the least!

I've never said he wasn't. :) But I like giving credit where it's due, and Ricciardo's performance today was spectacular. I don't think Vettel could have done much better.

"Lotus has confirmed that its disastrous day was down to technical problems, with Maldonado's car hit by an issue with its power unit, and Grosjean suffering mapping problems that affected braking".

Maldonado needs a refund

It was obvious that Vettel had car problems, hopefully it will be solved by tomorrow. Great drive by Ricciardo. Still, I feel that Vettel will have a powerful comeback tomorrow.

Edit:

I just remembered how I miss THIS sound of F1!!!

What mechanical problems did Vettel have?

The software was wrong and it meant he wasn't getting as much top speed plus it was affecting him at low speed corners. Made drivability bad as well.

Rumour has it he was trying an upgraded mapping system but it obviously didn't work.

According to Horner it's related to the software of the engine.

True question is: Will it be solved?

Wow red bull recovered really well from this winter, good for them! It seems that the grid order hasn't changed as much as alot of people said. I just hope Ferrari can get in the title fight this year with both drivers. Amazing pole lap by hammy btw, that moment he had was insane.

I miss that sound too vlad, but it wasn't as good as the v10s and v12s of yore anyway. Until the late 80s f1 cars had thesame engines as they now have, kinda sounds similar and I thought that sounded pretty special when I hear youtube clips from those days. The main difference is that the recording equipment is so good that it doesn't distort the engine sound anymore (compared to the 80s) so the engines could maybe sound better if they upped the sensitivity of the mics. But I'm satisfied with the sounds as it is and the driving input needed is great, lots power oversteer moments, I really love it. Too bad Kimi couldn't catch that one btw. :/

Not really. Difficult conditions, track improving. Lewis and his side timed it better and he delivered. I think both merc guys did an A+ job.

So did Ricciardo. Nice likeable fella (not that Vettel isn't) and you can't help but feel good about home drivers performing for their crowd. Plus owning Vettel. Everybody likes that ;) except Vlad heheheheheeh

Alonso was so much better than Kimi. Wow. Similar sort of performance gap as with Massa. Kimi will sort it out though.
