I hope the livery shows well on TV.

It looks like it's got the finger nose though. There's a reason why we're not being shown a front view...

No matter how the cars look, but when you think about it that the cars produce less power than last year its c**p. Cars will be 3 - 8 sec slower. Even GP2 cars will be faster on some tracks..
And this is Formula 1????
Its becoming slowmula 1!!

They might be slower to start with, but once ERS is added to the equation they have just as much power as last season. I think it's 600bhp basic plus 160bhp with ERS. So 760 overall with the potential for more.

Plus, remember GP2 is now in its fourth season of evolution with exactly the same car. They've gained about 2-3s/lap compared to the start of 2011. So you're not comparing like with like.

Without change, F1 would stagnate. This needed to happen. Of course, grunting V12s would be amazing, but it isn't going to happen. I still think they'll sound good and am looking forward to hearing them in six days time

But the drivers will be 70 laps on every little straight on ERS buton. Theyll burn their finger off. Last year when it was gone, it was gone, so u have to wait till the line to refill.
Yes but these new engines cost a lot to build them!!! So why change something that was working very well. And they are talking about saving money in F1..
Well i dont think the cars will sound great. But lets wait and see..

They have 30 seconds worth of ERS. In monaco, you wont be able to use all of that 30 seconds for example. On another track, you could use most of it in a quarter of a lap. Its no different to KERS now, except you can do it more.

You haven't heard a turbo properly yet.

Plus ERS is built in so drivers don't deploy it.

Of course, they're expensive, but over the next seven years the price decreases to become more cost effective.

That livery looks great.
"Our nose is a launch spec and later we will have an updated front end of the car, which potentially is quite different."
The nose that is on the launch car is a banker. We've got ourselves a car that we can go testing and racing with. Several weeks ago we started pushing the design boundaries because we think there's performance in it. There are new concepts coming through."
This suggests to me that step-noses are the way to go once again.
