Collection of portraits " The Face of Formula One "
A Unique collection of portraits by artist Jill Bradley revealing the personalities within Formula One.
Artist Jill Bradley has unveiled the latest two portraits in her Formula One New Masters collection, with her depictions of Jarno Trulli and Kimi Raikkonen at the Arbuthnot Latham Motorsport Drinks Evening in London.
The New Masters is a unique interpretation of Formula One personalities, past and present - drawing influence in appearance and character of each subject from the works of the ‘old masters’ - to commit to canvas with oils a representation of Formula One impossible to recreate through words, photography or film.
The motivation for this unique collection comes from Jill’s knowledge and love of fine art and her passion, from an early age, for Motorsport. The beneficiaries of this historical amalgamation will be various charities when the completed works are exhibited and auctioned.
The New Masters works completed to date include: BAR Honda drivers Jenson Button and Takuma Sato; as well as Red Bull Racing’s David Coulthard and Tonio Liuzzi; ex-Jordan F1 team principal Eddie Jordan; Ferrari’s Jean Todt and Ross Brawn; McLaren’s Juan Pablo Montoya, Kimi Raikkonen and Ron Dennis; Panasonic Toyota’s Jarno Trulli; and ITV F1 pundits and ex-drivers Martin Brundle and Mark Blundell.
As the collection continues to grow Jill intends to exhibit the works before selling them off for various charities. She exhibited the first of her portraits during the Monaco Grand Prix earlier this year, prior to exhibiting at the Grand Prix Ball at Stowe School, where she made £16,000 for charity from the sale of two of the works.
Following a feature on Jill and her work in the ITV pre-race F1 show in Monaco this year Jill has appeared as a guest artist and judge on the new ‘Pop Idol’ style show, A Brush With Fame. The episode featuring Jill was broadcast on Friday 21st October on ITV.
With twelve stunning portraits already completed and Jill working flat out on those in progress, the New Masters promises to be the definitive collection of Formula One portraits and one of the most significant collections of sport portraiture in recent times.

She's a very good artist, the pictures are really good, but she makes the pictures/people look so dark and menacing
