Oh gosh... This is terrible news. :(
I hope he pulls through - if his brain isn't too damaged to lead a normal life.

Management: Schumi suffered a head injury with a coma which needed urgent neurosurgical treatment. Condition is critical.

A lot of the time a coma is induced to aid the patient.

Yep. I wouldn't be too concerned with the use of that term in this instance.

He's in the best place he can be.

The official report says coma upon arrival... So it doesn't sound like something the docs planned and induced...
