Alonso wants to win. Alonso will go to Red Bull in 2016. Red Bull and Alonso are just waiting for Alonso to get as much info from Ferrari as he can about the new engines.
Red Bull cannot help but dominate for the next couple of seasons. Adrian Newey is a god in F1 mechanicals and aerodynamics. The new cars will be a brand new slate for Newey to start picking at loopholes.
Kimi was supposed to be back in force this year. What happened to that. If Kimi was half as good as Alonso, Lotus would have had a much better showing this year. Next year with new engines, new KERS, new tires etc. the only constant will be Sebastien winning the WDC and Red Bull taking yet another WCC.
Looks like these forums are in for some mighty "boring" races with their favorites not winning much.

Just watched the last show of "Les spécialistes F1" on Canal+ it's similar to the F1Show on Sky Sports. D'Ambrosio was asked about Kimi's technical ability, he said the Finn doesn't spend a lot of time with the engineers but his feedback on the performance of the car is very good. Lotus need quality and not quantity.

Raikkonen, in one sentence, ruins Eric Boullier's day
http://www.f1zone.net/news/raikkonen-fi ... xit/20415/

In turn, it should set alarm bells ringing for drivers such as Hulkenberg. It's made negotiations harder for Lotus now..

@andrewbensonf1 - to be clear on Raikkonen/Lotus, I'm told it's not just his bonus for points that hasn't been paid, but his whole salary

Mika Salo said Kimi is paying travel fees & hotels out of his own pocket.
How long will this last... :zz:

Rumours that Massa rather than Hulkenberg will get the Lotus seat in 2014 as Massa could bring in sponsorship $ from Brazil or
even Spanish bank Santander who has interests in the Brazilian market.

Tell me more about bringing kimi out of retirement. And not paying him a dime. Tell me more about horrifically overspending. And not paying the team. Tell me more about wasting millions on double drs for 3 years. And not using it. Tell me more about poor Lotus: the victim.

5Live's interview with Kimi last night was pretty good. He was quite talkative, seemed happy.

I think Domenicali is going to be key in making things work better this time. He likes him, and they know what went wrong before He can make sure it doesn't happen again.

AUTOSPORT's article this week on Alonso / Raikkonen is also well worth reading.

1. Kimi out of retirement: success
2. Not paying him: pwned! pay him in beers.
3. Overspending: track results. Better than Mclaren and Mercedes, and actually better than Ferrari had it not been Alonso there.
4. Not paying the team: yikes
5. Wasting millions on DRS: a mistake. No team is perfect.
6. Lotus the victim: victim of the financial/commercial scheme. A team that finishes 3rd an challenges for the driver championship should be able to afford it from the sport itself; not because drivers bring in commercial agreements. Drivers are drivers, not wall street brokers.

1. He had no other competative option. He was rubbish in WRC and rubbish in NASCAR trucks
2. Vodka, not beer!
3. They have been 5th in 2010 and 2011, only in 2012 did they get 4th and are currently set for 4th again. Its not something to shout about being 120million Euro in debt, not paying the team or drivers, and only getting 4th. If they were reaping rewards and also having a title sponsorship, they wouldnt be in this mess or lost kimi.
4. Yeah, its pretty bad!
5. No team is perfect but I dont recall a team spending THREE seasons on ONE concept thats been raced twice? let alone being erradicated and illegal from 2014!
6. No, employees are the victims. Genii bought it, got greedy, overspent to get results to sell the team, had the chance, won a race, demanded more; now theyre in the s***.

You forget Lotus is Genii capital; a Bank.
