Lotus: Kimi and Hulkenberg. What a dream team
Totally agree. I've always rated Hulkenberg well. He reminds me of a young Kimi. They'd look like the "twin" team!
Besides, the autograph queue for Lotus (in Melbourne anyway) is not separated on its own as Red Bull's/Ferrari's/McLaren's/Mercedes.
That matters when you are waiting in line... :O
Boullier confirmed that Kimi's back salary finally settled. Now they just have to make sure they have the funding and developmental push for next year in order to retain Kimi.

There's no way at Red Bull will Vettel be told that Kimi is faster than him and to not hold him up. Kimi may not need that help but he's always thankful when it happens (Germany'13 when he shook Grosjean's hand after the race; Brazil'07 when he effusively acknowledged Massa's help).

So, agree that Kimi and Hulkenberg pairing would be every poster's dream! :p

There are rumors that some Russian investors are buying Sauber, and with the upcoming Russian Grand Prix i won't be surprised to hear Sauber signing Petrov. That means good sponsor money from Russia, something that Sauber needs desperately.
A craven can be as brave as any man, when there is nothing to fear. And we all do our duty, when there is no cost to it. How easy it seems then, to walk the path of honor.

Here's why Vergne should be looking elsewhere

The problem is he has limited options against the pay drivers. But I guess he'd do a better job than Massa at Ferrari :zz:

Vergnes rubbish. Well he's better than Bottas/Chilton/pic/VDG/gutierrez.

I cant see any teams picking him up just like all RBR academy drivers but Liuzzi at HRT

Meanwhile Frijns has tweeted Abt saying 'thanks mate, see you in Spa'

Hmm... but if he has no budget for GP2, why step up at the expense of Hulkenberg?!

I asked Khalil and he said "not worried about my friend HULK. He was in UK for a seat fitting".

So perhaps the whole issue is because Hulk is leaving to another team? :zz:

Interesting... UK? Definitely F1 team?

Who could that be... Lotus!

So let's think about this logically. Unless we've all been blind sided, it cannot be Red Bull. Williams and Force India are out and it's difficult to see it being McLaren. So Kimi-Hulkenberg, perhaps as soon as after the summer break?

After all, why would you have a seat fitting in July? :zz:

Quaef-Hobbs just replaced Frijns in GP2. I cant believe this rumour could actually be true. Grosjean doesn't deserve to lose his seat in the slightest. Ferrari need to ditch massa and take Rogro.

And Ceccon has been dropped for Teixera. I mean, really? This paydriver stuff is getting out of hand.

Would be strange, though. Lopez has recently backed Grosjean in an unequivocal way. And what has he done wrong this year? He was rubbish in Monaco, average on a couple other occasions... then the car failed him two or three times! Other than that, he either outperformed Kimi (Malaysia) or stood beside him on the podium (Bahrain and Germany). He also hasn't had any first lap adventures.

Wouldn't make any sense to me. Then again, it's the same Lotus team who sacked Heidfeld unceremoniously, so who knows.

It's really all hearsay at this point, anyway.

Hulkenberg wouldn't want to leave Sauber just to stay at home. If the rumours are true then he definitely found a better seat.

I don't know but maybe Lotus think they have better chance fighting for the 3rd place with Kimi and Hulkenberg?

If it turns out to be true then Ferrari can hire Grosjean alongside Alonso in 2014. He can deliver!
