FORMULA 1™ Gran Premio d'Italia 2007

Grand Prix History
There has only been one year since 1950 when the Italian Grand Prix was not run in Monza and that was 1980 when it took place at Imola. Little has changed with this track over the years. It remains one of the fastest tracks, even with the introduction of chicanes in the 1970's, and is therefore very hard on the cars.

Monza is the real home of the Italian Grand Prix and the "tifosi" or fans add to the unique atmosphere.

I'm going for an all Ferrari win here. !yahoo: Raikkonen will win, and then Massa second. :)

!yahoo: YEAH, love the track, the supporters. Most of all because Montoya won his first GP here and in 2005.
But still, I think (hope) Hamilton will win this one, it's going to be a very close race, I think it's going to be a more exciting race than the last two boring ones $peace . It's going to be a very close race between Ferrari and McLaren, and I predict Williams especially Rosberg will be quick, I hope. Williams is quick at this track. Oh yeah, and Montoya drove the fastest lap EVER here, if I'm right ''hmm'' :T:@ Oh and uhm, that race is on my brothers birthday :p $peace

thats really cool ,Wish I could be there , Good Luck and Have Fun

Q. Monza has similar characteristics to Montreal and Indy. Do you think it could be one of the worst Grands Prix for you? What are the differences between the North American races and Monza?
KR: I think the only problem that we can probably have in Monza is through kerbs. Maybe it hasn't been our strongest point going over the kerbs, and trying to get the traction back.

But I know from the past that Ferrari were always very strong in their home race. We improved for the last race the car handling over the bumps so we should be okay there.

I'm waiting for a great race at Monza. I hope for another Ferrari 1-2, which I think will let the championship far more interesting, and hope for another victory by Massa. :p

The Monza circuit can basically be described in one word fast
Running little wing to take advantage of the long straights, the cars slip and slide through the chicanes that interrupt the circuit in the name of safety.
