Calado conducted an aero test for Force India yesterday. It seems he might be their reserve driver later this year.

Also, Webber spoke to Australian TV this morning and said 'the ball is firmly in my court', which implies the offer of a 2014 seat is there.

So Bottas is faster because he is slower...

You know Pastor, part of being a good driver is being adaptable.

So using Pastor's logic, he was only faster than Senna in 2012 because the Williams was better suited to him.

I'm sure he knows. But the same can be said about almost every teammate comparison. Even last yr with Alonso and Massa...

There is a point when better drivers show they are better, and i would say the teams know; but from the outside, we just see the surface and make opinions. It's not fair to some drivers but that's how it is.

He knows that Valteri is the next big thing for F1. I don't see Maldonado in a racing seat next year tbh.

really? I dont rate Bottas one bit. I dont get the whole next big thing. If anything, the next big drivers of the new generation are going to be Perez and Bianchi. Grosjean if he can string it together.

Maldanado brings what, £27million a year? Williams cant afford not to have that.

Valteri comes off like Kimi in his early Sauber days. Not very talkative but lets his racing do the talking. He's beating his experienced (and quick) teammate, and I think he's quite talented.

I know many rate him. But I see nothing. Zilch. Nada. The williams aint that good either, but I dont see anything. He doesnt pull anything thats 'wow' yet. Give him until the midseason break though like im giving Gutierrez, Chilton and Van Der Garde. The last quater/3rd is where it will be at for those guys. Should Gutierrez make it though!

I'm not sold on Bottas yet, but I will admit to being impressed with the job he's done so far in 2013.
