Jaime A was also there recently.
They're just toying with us.
At this rate they'll change drivers in the pit stops

Be quite funny imagining DC saying this;phil1993 wrote:Jaime A was also there recently.

'Di resta has come in for his 2nd stop, thats super softs going on and Bianchi going in, meanwhile his teammate Sutil has just taken over the wheel of Alguesari and is in 13th place is on the medium compound. These driver pit stops are reeeeeally costing the Force India; 22 second stop stationary and they've lost heaps of time'
Re: 2013 Formula One Discussion
I just can't work it out at that team.
Sutil, Bianchi or Alguersuari. How hard can it be to make a choice?
Unless they really are trying to scrape every last $$ out of one of them.
Coincidentally

Oh how nice it must be. No wonder Hulk jumped ship and Di Resta praid to baby jesus he would be picked up by a top team (god knows why he has such an over inflated view of himself).

Re: 2013 Formula One Discussion
Interesting to read that MotoGP has elected to revert back to the old pits at Silverstone so that they can accommodate all three categories in one paddock.
I wonder why they didn't make the paddock bigger for Silverstone, because GP2 and GP3 has the same problem as Moto2/3 in that respect.

Re: 2013 Formula One Discussion
...because the new paddock was built purely with F1 in mind. Everything is irrelevant.

Re: 2013 Formula One Discussion
I think so. It seems Sutil has a decent package of backing, I reckon they're leaving it as late as possible to see how much Ferrari want Bianchi to have the seat and what they're offering.phil1993 wrote: Unless they really are trying to scrape every last $$ out of one of them.
Re: 2013 Formula One Discussion
Sørensen looks quite promising but I don't know about the rest. Stöckinger and Fontana were a little bit disappointing last year. The others are unknown, yet.phil1993 wrote:Lotus has announced a junior team. I thought Lotus would start to support Marvin Kirchhöfer as he has won the ADAC Formel Masters in his debut season with Lotus. He became ADAC Junior Motor Racing Driver of the Year and Speed Academy winner in front of Pascal Wehrlein. Moreover he will drive for Lotus in the German F3 Cup this season.
Re: 2013 Formula One Discussion
Where is Lotus getting the $$ to fun and support these drivers?

2013! Awesome
20 races, classic tracks
Okay, so it might end up being nineteen if a venue cannot be found for race twenty, but we’ve got another set of classic tracks to host the 2013 championship. Monte Carlo, Montreal, Silverstone, Spa, Monza, Singapore, Suzuka and Austin all return, while the season will begin and end in its rightful locations: Melbourne and Interlagos.
