Re: 2013 Formula One Discussion
I have an exam on Tuesday. This is called procrastination.
Re: 2013 Formula One Discussion
I had an exam this morning. No more, everyone else still has them though. This is called wondering what to do with myself.

Speaking at Ferrari's Wrooom media event at Madonna di Campiglio on Thursday, Alonso said he was baffled by Marko's stance, especially because if Red Bull had not taken on board the comments, then why was it responding.
"They say that they did not listen and they did not speak. They were saying they were not being influenced by what we said, but it means they did listen or someone woke up at night and read the comments - because they had to calm down.
Re: 2013 Formula One Discussion
Some rumours this morning that Force India is on the verge of collapse. I'd take those rumours with a pinch of salt.
Re: 2013 Formula One Discussion
Lotus and RB swap race engineers for Kimi and Mark. So now Webber will be told things he already knows of, and Raikkonen will be told to maintain the gap...

No problems at Force India

Second driver likely to be named prior to first test, but not at the launch on Feb 1.

Definitely take the rumours with a pinch of salt, but at the same time it does look suspicious that there's been no driver announcement yet...
Re: 2013 Formula One Discussion
Holding out for a pair of pay drivers? Chris Scarborough said he wouldnt mention the TEAMS he has heard might not make it.
Im presuming FI and Marussia are in deep, deep shite. But wasnt it true about Lotus being sold, just needed a signature, then Kimi wins Abu Dhabi, Lopez wants to renegotiate a higher price due to that win, and the buyer just pulls out immediately because of the price hike?
I mean, Lotus too are the only team without a paying title sponsor arent they? Thats one hell of a hefty sum for no profit.

Re: 2013 Formula One Discussion
Lotus don't have a title sponsor, although they're supposedly close to Honeywell.
Marussia should be fine, but I am worried about the initial increased price hike with the new engines and chassis at the start of 2014.
Any team wants to sell if the price is right...

But who knows. Teams have been on the verge for many many years and have got by with the skin of their teeth!
Re: 2013 Formula One Discussion
Well yes
Sauber would sell, as he has done before. Red Bull will listen if anyone wants STR.

I would take them with a pinch of salt too, however some of Vijay Mallya's business interests are struggling so I guess this is where the rumour regarding Force India is coming from.phil1993 wrote:Some rumours this morning that Force India is on the verge of collapse.
