As Burn. But there was the reports that Coca Cola was going to be a major sponsor. If Honeywell is the title sponsor of Lotus, that means Coca Cola will be with someone else and the Burn sibsidary with Lotus.

I have that hat. That'll be my ice-breaker.

Alonso thinks 2012 form will be tough to repeat in 2013

He is right. His perfection came from others imperfection.

Actually I have to disagree with Alonso there. His season would have been perfect if he hadn't had the Japan mistake and hadn't been beat during qualy by Massa in some of the last races. Not that I think he was bad or wasn't up there, but he indeed had his downs too.

I think last year was closer to being perfect.

Perfect doesnt mean beating your teammate. it means driving the best you can all season. I still dont see the mistake in Japan. Kimi went into the back of Alonso, there was no where kimi would go except on the grass and off the road, I dont understand what kimi was trying to do placing his car that side of Alonso, there was zero sense in it, he was already going onto the grass and he wouldve just flown off track into T1.

And No offence, if a perfect season means youve got to outqualify and outrace your team mate every single race, thats ludicrous. Nobody has done that in the top teams. Barrichello outqualified Schumacher at least once a year. It was about time Massa started to get competative and im glad he started to pull his weight, even if he did outqualify Alonso, s*** happens so to speak.

Its like many people say Massa is rubbish thats why Alonso is beating him. Then when massa picks the pace up, Alonso has lost it, he's bottled it, he's rubbish, he has to rely on team orders to beat massa. He's damned if he does, damned if he doesnt. Nobody was scrutinising Vettel to the point where he is instantly bottling it just because Webber beat him in quali a few times. Nobody berates Vettel for having Webber move over or be his wingman (because he should be) because its not bottling it. But as soon as its Alonso, countless people berate it and he is rubbish.

You been on the autosport forum? Apprently Alonso choked the 2012 world championship. Someone was on about how massa wouldve outscored him in the 2nd half of the season, well thats wrong. From Germany, Alonso scored 124 points with 1 DNF. Massa scored 99. No massa didnt attack in Korea, USA and Brazil. to thats 2 points in korea, 2 in the USA and 3 in Brazil. 7 points. Add 7 to Massa, take 7 off alonso and its still 117-106. 11 points more AND a DNF. Lotus cost Alonso the world championship that he shouldnt even be in contention for in the first place and only was because Button was c**p, Hamilton had so much unreliability its unreal and Redbull found their trickery from Spa onwards. They were outdeveloped and by being perfect and taking points instead of risking them, thats how they did it.

But yeah, Alonso couldnt have done more. I mean some even criticise him saying he shouldve won the race in Brazil. the car wasnt there. It was only top speed that made him beat Mclaren in India. Mclaren and Redbull were too fast for the Ferrari in any condition for the last 6 races.

Bianchi beating Sutil in Force India's driver selection
F1 | Turun Sanomat 12/12/2012 22:39

France is about to get it's 72th racing driver in the history of F1 , when Jules Bianchi has risen to pole position in Force India's selection of the team mate for British Paul di Resta.

Bianchi was in this season Force India's test and reserve driver in the same way as Valtteri Bottas, who has already secured his seat in Williams. The French drove a total of nine Friday morning GP practice.

Bianchi is three weeks older than Bottas. Each of the 23-year-olds was born in August 1989.

Announcement is expected before Christmas. Bianchi should then be third new face in F1 races along with two-GP3 champions Esteban Gutierrez and Bottas.

Total of 20 point positions was accomplish by Force India's car in this season. The team was 7th in manufacturers championship after collecting 109 points. Nico Hülkenberg moved to Sauber for next season, after which the released position was under arduous negotiations among multiple drivers.

The main candidate has long been German Adrian Sutil, who has also before driven in the team. According TS's knowledge, Force India's move to use Ferrari engines for 2014 would have been a decisive factor in the selection of Bianchi.

Reportedly Sauber would move from Ferrari to Mercedes in 2014 and Toro Rosso from Ferrari to Renault camp, which would unite the engine package with the parent company Red Bull.

Bianchi has worked as Ferrari's test driver and in driver academy since 2009. Manager is French Nicolas Todt, whose customers include Williams' Pastor Maldonado and Ferrari's Felipe Massa.

Grosjean or Kobayashi?

Kamui Kobayashi, who negotiated with Force India, is still a candinate for Kimi Räikkönen's team mate in Lotus team.

His Japanese background groups are presumably able to provide bigger sponsorship to Lotus owner Genii Capital than, for his seat contending, Romain Grosjean, who, however, is still the strongest candidate in delayed driver selection.

In Caterham team at the finishing straight for Charles Pic's team mate are spurting Dutchman Giedo van der Garde and Russian Vitaly Petrov. 27-year-old Dutchman is the top candidate due to big support of McGregor garment company. He has driven a total of six Friday morning practice with the car of Caterham.

Bruno Senna, who lost his seat in Williams, has negotiated with Force India as well as Caterham, but he is guessed to end up in DTM series for the next season . Senna tested Mercedes recently in Estoril track.
