The domain registrant Pulp Active Oy has done marketing & PR work for the Ice1Racing team (which currently only does motocross but was also used for his private WRC-team). For an ad agency they make horrible pages, at least judging by their announcement of the Ice1 deal.. http://www.pulpagency.com/?p=69

Given Lotus were plugging this on their Facebook page, he will stay at Lotus.

This is Lotus making news out of something we already know. The contract was for 2 years, with a results-based clause in case he flopped on his return.

So, unless this is just pure publicity, there must be something deeper.

Nice promotional video, but the fact is, these marketing tools are never to be taken seriously. They'll probably reveal something we already know, or something trivial.

I know what it is. It's when the "device" is going to work :zz:

Maybe Raikkonen decided to join the senior management at Lotus :p

According to AMuS the team is not in a good financial situation. Raikkonen didn't receive his salary.
It will also provide a loan of Proton's former parent company of Lotus, which has not yet been repaid. Should not the blame be compensated, the racing team reportedly falling into the hands of the Malaysian car company.

I spent the afternoon with Hekki Kulta, he's down to earth compared to the British/German/French journalists.

He introduced me to Kimi, and we talked for like 2 minutes :D
