Curious to know where this leaves Vodafone / Telmex. Respect to Perez if he's turned his back on Telmex (and walked away from the Ferrari Academy) for a McLaren drive or maybe there is some sort of Vodafone / Telmex business deal coming up as has been rumoured.

I can't see Perez abandoning Telmex. More like some sort of deal being done. Maybe Vodafone leaves F1 altogether?

That was also rumoured but didn't think that would be until after 2013.

I also wonder if this means Vettel will be off to Ferrari in 2014...

So where does this leave Sauber? Do they promote Gutierrez and use Kobayashi as a yardstick, or is it Alguersuari-Kobayashi. Or Alguersuari-Gutierrez?

"The orange limited edition McLaren F1 GTR at MTC remains safely in Ron Dennis's hands. It was promised to Lewis if he won 3 WDCs with mac"

Because Vodafone has a contract until the end of 2013 and Vodafone and Telmex are in the same business.

Phil asked a good question yesterday, I wonder if Mclaren will keep pushing 100% to support Hamilton in the final 6 races.

Anyway im dissapointed with Lewis. Still im his fan no matter what. Ah its a schock. I hope he wont moan that car is slow or he cant win races - its your own fault Lewis.
You got the money you wanted, but you will not fight for championship in a fast car.
And the Mercedes development is c**p, they do nothing on the car all year, while others upgrade every race.

More questions:
- Future for Sauber: to remain financially secure, they might have to promote Gutierrez
- What does this mean for the Vettel to Ferrari in 2014 stories...

How did I not know that Simon Fuller was behind Honda's Earth Car until now?
