He f*** up in Spain and today. He's run into the back of slower cars too many times. It's beginning to look a problem. But he's shown some good race craft at times as well. Some excellent defence in Silverstone, Germany and Spa and has pulled off some nice feisty moves as well. Raikkonen in Spa and Hulkenberg in Germany for example. There is some good race craft still there.

I just wonder if some of it is experience of the track and age. I mean, his Singapore record is utterly atrocious!

I don't know, it's odd he's been involved in one collision that's his fault every year in Singapore and an additional one that wasn't in 2010. When he's driven into the back of cars it's when they've been braking early on old tyres and he's been caught out. It's happened to other drivers, but only once. No one else has done it 3 times in 12 months. Perhaps in that situation the reactions aren't great. But it's only in those situations the reactions have looked bad.

What's incredible is you can say Lewis has lost points in:

Australia, China, Bahrain, Spain, Valencia, Germany, Belgium and Singapore.

And only in Valencia can he be given a small bit of blame. The other is the fault of McLaren or poor luck.

You are correct. But still doesn't pay off the luck he exhausted in Brazil 2008.

Joking aside, I think luck balances out for everyone at the end, whether in their F1 career or not. That's just my opinion though.

Someone uploaded the latest episode of Tooned on YouTube. Someone commented 'Maybe McLaren need to spend less time making this rubbish and more time working on their reliability if they're going to win this year's title?' Someone else responded 'You know that McLaren don't actually make their mechanics and engineers work on this right?' Made me laugh.

I must be evilness or something but when I saw Michael crashing like that on Vergne, I couldn't resist in dropping a laugh.

To be honest, its balancing from last year. He caused the team to lose a huge haul of points, this year its the other way round. 2008 Lewis didnt need luck really, he was against massa who had the first two races as retirments which were a guaranteed 12 points, ontop of Lewis having 6 penalties, and Massa failing in Silverstone and his engine blowing as well.

Lewis just made an utter meal out of that year.

I want lewis at Ferrari. Wont happen. I dont think either of them truly want to be up against each other. Would be epic though!

Otherwise, I think lewis will be Alonso's ally in the next few races.

Fan filmed videos always give a better impression of what it's like to be at a race than TV, particularly from a sound point of view. Here's a fan view of Schumacher hitting Vergne with the raw sound.
