That would be World Series by Renault. Allegedly free admittance (?) to a full weekend of racing extravaganza including Formula Renault 3.5 and Lotus/RBR F1 shows.
Anyway, my family and I are considering going to Le Castellet next weekend to give it a try. Has anyone ever been to a WSbR event? Any experience, tips or insight to share? Much appreciated in advance.

How far away from Ricard are you?
I went in 2011 and it was good. Races weren't fantastic but there's a much better field this season. The only criticism is it gets very busy in the paddock areas!

It's about 3 to 4 hours away.
I was surprised to find out it was free entry. I suppose you've got to show up a bit early to find some good seats. I'd love to be at the end of the main straight.
