My God, those scars are tremendous. I don't even want to think about how horrifying his injury must have been. ::oops:;

So happy to see him in a car again and being competitive. I hope he can at very least make a couple of Friday drives at a few GPs within the next few years. There would be no justice in this world if he couldn't at least do that again.

Friday drives? That's a depressing prospect for a Grand Prix winner. He has always said he would only come back to GPs as a full-time driver.

I emphasized "at least."
I agree with you that he would truly deserve a return to a race seat, but at this point, we don't really know how he'll be able to work in an F1 car. His driving at this rally was impressive, but I'm just thinking about how much smaller F1 cockpits are and how the drivers have to be positioned. Time will tell if he's still able to do that.

Robert Kubica is really good it´s a shame he had that injury I think he had the potential to be a world champion. If it wasn´t for that injury he would probably be driving a Ferrari right now.

So I noticed in another topic some talk about future prospects what do you think of Antonio Felix da Costa? Does he have the potential to be an F1 driver? It would be cool to have a Portuguese driver in the field again.

HRT unveils bike, denies it's faster than the F112

Okay, the last part of that is technically untrue.

Thank you iceman! He surely didn't seem hampered by his injury there.

LOL. Who on Earth would buy it? The team is known for being slow, yet they market something that's related to speed/velocity. FAIL.

Which F1 team needs something like KERS if you can develop an electric bicycle instead?...

You've got to start somewhere :O

Who knows, it could be a good deal for HRT. Electric bikes like that are becoming more common in big cities so I guess they'll try and sell some in Madrid.

Rest in peace Sid Watkins. A true hero of F1.
Edit: I found a good interview from 1990

That's desperately sad to hear. One of F1's absolute heroes.

RIP Sid, thanks making F1 safe.

Auto, Motor und Sport reports Petrov will lose his seat at Caterham before the end of the year, the money is drying out. Giedo vd Garde is the top candidate to replace him in that case. Pic for 2013.

RIP Sid Watkins. A great loss to F1, and to all those drivers he helped recover from their various accidents.
