Yes they are very competitive :p
That's weird. Looks like Kimi is talking more to press that Ferrari drivers  And he doesn't talk :<>:
I hope Ferrari is not having a serious issue with the car

Massa and Ricciardo on the track. Looks like rain tyres are 10 sec off the pace.

Kovalainen did his best time on super soft tyres.

Remember, even if the F2012 is bad, the F150's results in Catalunya last year were - Alonso 5th & lapped, Massa retired. So the car will be stronger at other tracks.

As a Ferrari driver you are not allowed to talk to the press:

They have a very small operating window in which the car performs strongly. I wonder if they've focused too much on getting the tyres up to speed quickly for qualifying purposes, but gone too far the other way...

Ferrari has radically changed so much in the car and in the team that I would expect them to have problems at this point, but if Fry is not totally fooling us when he says they can't understand why the car is sometimes fast and then suddenly not, I would say there is a bigger problem than usually. At least after the tests there is about million lines of TSL's test data to analyze what is not working as expected. Surely at some point they'll catch up with McLaren and Red Bull but I wouldn't expect them to championship contender this year. Even so at the end of the season they should have performance close to top teams. They have Fry, Byrne, Alonso and many others who should be an asset for next season, when I believe they'll really come back to the top. If they can do it this year, good for them

According to Oskari Saari (MTV3, in his tweeter), the reason why Räikkönen stopped driving when it started raining is that the team forgot to put rain tyres on the rims. In other words, they had forgotten the rain tyres.

Ha ha  Permane said:

- We drove a different program than the other teams today, Permane said.

- When we got to the track, we improved the car's balance throughout the day. We decided not to drive in the rain, which meant that today we got fewer laps than we would otherwise have been driving, Permane said.
Surely they had a different program if they had forgotten the rain tyres  Now, how far away did they hide them ''hmm''

If Ferrari fail this year, then their past four years will have yielded 4-3-3-?

That isn't good enough. Heads will have to roll...

Kimi: Hi Mark I think I have a problem
Slade: Yeah, what is it?
Kimi: The car is not moving
Slade: Look if others are moving
Kimi: Yeah, they left about 10 sec ago. Have we forgot something?
Slade: Something... Something...
Permane: Kimi do you have gas?
Kimi: Yes, the engine is running
Slade: GEARS! Is the gearbox working
Kimi: Yes, I'm currently on fourth gear and on full throttle
Slade: But you are not moving?
Kimi: Excatly. Mark what are those round black things I can see on other cars passing me?
Slade: Black round things. Black round things.. Just wait I'll try to solve this
Permane yelling to the garage: HAS ANYONE SEEN ANY BLACK ROUND THINGS LAY AROUND?
Boullier: What are black round things?
Garage: DID YOU MEAN BLACK ROUND THINGS WITH SOME WRITING ON THE SIDE? THERE IS A PILE OF THOSE AT THE BACK OF THE GARAGE
Slade: Kimi is there any writing on the side of those black round things?
Kimi: Wait I'll check. I'll have to wait until they pass me again
Romain: Ayao! I think I have a problem
Komatsu: Where are you
Romain: I'm just behind Kimi

Gary Anderson wrote:"I'm out watching at Turn Nine - the fast right-hander halfway around the track. It's a demanding corner, and the McLaren looks very good through there. It's very consistent, the drivers can place it and it behaves well on and off the throttle. The Ferrari is a different matter. It looks OK for a lap or two but then the front starts to wash out with understeer, and then a bit later in the run it starts developing oversteer on the exit as well. Of the other teams, the Lotus looks quite nice and Kimi Raikkonen looks very committed. The Finn did have a wander off track when the front didn't bite as he was expecting
