And at the last in the list of roles there is:

"...any other Ad Hoc projects..."

Usually that can mean anything between earth and sky

Barrichello - Retirement
Buemi - Sportscars
Di Resta - Force India
Perez - Sauber (confirmed)
Petrov - Marussia reserve or HRT seat
Senna - Lotus reserve
van der Garde - HRT seat, or USA

Does that help?
Well, yes.. or no.

d’Ambrosio says he is not interested to be a reserve driver.

Would have been nice to see Barrichello to get his 20th year. Unfortunately Williams already has Venezuelan oil backing them so even Petrobras can't help him. Can't see him in any other teams.

Anyway there are too few opportunities for young drivers with so few seats. There ought to much more testing to both develop cars and have test drivers more work. I don't believe testing ban has made F1 cheaper. Now they use wind tunnels and computer simulations. One more testing session in 2012 is not enough. Just my opinion. :<>:

Yeah. Maybe. That must have something to do with FIA's new crash test regulations :zz:

what will happen to Kubica? here's a scenario that came into my mind:
Massa fails to deliver the speed, in mid season Ferrari will replace him with Kubica (similar to what happened between Montoya and McLaren in 2006,but I think De La Rosa had deal with McLaren) but that's just a possibility, and I don't know whether that is legal or not to give a seat to Kubica in mid season
A craven can be as brave as any man, when there is nothing to fear. And we all do our duty, when there is no cost to it. How easy it seems then, to walk the path of honor.

It will be with Ferrari or no-one. There is no way back at Lotus. I doubt he'll go to the other 3 top teams.

Massa's contract runs to the end of the season so I can't see a) them kicking him out before the season is up and b) Kubica being physically ready to jump straight in to a race. They may give him some friday praccy run outs but I can't see a race forthcoming.
