I must say this has been quite a silly Silly Season, even by F1 standards. These latest Raikkönen rumours take the cake, though the spectacle of STR (allegedly) repudiating their two patiently bred love children is also quite juicy. Pass the popcorn please.

Now you see why I'm sceptical. To be honest I don't see why they'd announce it there, it's some singer. They'd be confirming a star driver in front of a crowd of non-F1 fans many of which probably havn't heard of him!

But then James Allen is a reliable source and said to watch out for something regarding Raikkonen tonight. It's 9.30pm, where else could an announcement be made? Boullier from Brazil?
