So its gonna be a mix of Ravishing Black and White for Kimi Raikkonen this season
Re: Rally News
Oh f**k...I think Latvala is in trouble
Re: Rally News
what's leaking it's that it's a 3 years deal.
Waiting for the details. The rumours in Spain were that the deal would involve, for next season, 100 days of testing (the VW) and the S2000 championship in a Skoda. Let's see if it's true or not

Why? because of the Ford thing?sleenster wrote:Oh f**k...I think Latvala is in trouble
That is worrying, but something will come out, I'm sure.

I don't know, but maybe Ogier didn't want to join a team with an uncertain future?Mar wrote: Why? because of the Ford thing?

Re: Rally News
It's true, the Ford team has not the most certain of futures, but talk was that VW was offering Ogier a huge amount of money. Plus, he would not have to directly fight with Latvala in the same team.
Let's be realistic, Ogier doesn't want to be co-joint number 1 driver, he wants to be number 1 driver in his team.

Re: Rally News
Ford can't even confirm if they will be here next year, not to mention three years
I wonder if Ogier joining VW would make it less likely that Solberg would be going there. Although there were rumors about Solberg and Ford? But I guess we'll see if Ford manages to meet the December deadline anyway
I need a frustrated smiley! Where can I find one?!

Re: Rally News
There were a few rumours last weekend about a certain Norwegian burying the war axe with the guys of M-Sport.sleenster wrote:Ford can't even confirm if they will be here next year, not to mention three years

Who knows? Maybe Solberg and Ford are able to build up a few bridges again and he ends up there.

Re: Rally News
I fear also for Jari-Matti's future... His performance has improved a lot, and if he doesn't get a good seat it doens't look so good for him.
Re: Rally News
I'd completely forgotten about Solberg actually! It seems the future for quite a few drivers is uncertain. At Rally GB Petter had the Citroen Norway bosses visit him on Sunday (after he'd crashed out, unfortunately...) we saw them and spoke to a couple of them. I think they were there to make a decision on whether to back him next year or not, so Solberg could be with Citroen again next year if he impressed.sleenster wrote:Ford can't even confirm if they will be here next year, not to mention three years

Henning Solberg also mentioned something about trying to find sponsorship for next year. Hopefully he'll still be here next year too!
I hope Ford sort something out soon though, I don't want to see Jari-Matti without a drive!
Also, the Ogier to VW thing, this surely means Ogier won't be driving next year? That's a shame.
Thanks for all the news!
Re: Rally News

If that figure really is true, that makes them seem broke
