Button to Quit F1?

Button should have gone to Williams in 2005, and I'm sure if he does plenty of apologising to Sir Frank, he could get himself a race seat alongside Rosberg for 2008. Either that or he could join Prodrive for next year.

I really doubt it has any truth in it... He's made the decision to stay long term with Honda and loves racing I doubt he'll give up on them now... Like the Gigi Buffon rumours that he'd leave Juve if they didn't sign big players this season, neither Jense nor Gigi are stupid enough to leave their teams...

Button won't leave F1 he has alot of experience and I think he can still drive at the top I personally think Renault would be a good place for him together with Heiki Kovalainen.

I think he will stay in F1 and still in honda. but I doubt they can't bounce back this season. and maybe they can brought a surprise next season, maybe. and he must enjoy his position now. racing in midfield is very good to watch than leading a race by a mile IMO.

Title ? He will never be WDC. He´s not good enough for that. He has been so erratic in his choices that he has sabotaged his own F1 future. No sensible top team owner would hire him... and, he´s not champion material. It took him over 100 races to win one. It took Lewis 5 or 6 races... Champions are not only fast drivers, but people who make the right choices and forge their own luck. He´s not one of those... (at least not F1 WDC material. Maybe GP2, A1GP or other categories, but not F1).

Lewis will be the next British champion, but I don´t think this year. He will go far.

I think he is still contracted for a further year up till 2008 with Honda, since they paid some money to Frank Williams last year for him. After that, maybe he joins another midfield team, but not high up.

I think thats a little harsh... Tell me when Jense drove a Macca or Ferrari in his career and I might agree... I DO agree he probably won't be champ and its his own fault but you can't compare someone jumping into the best car on the grid to a rookie going into the normal mid-back mark car... Kubica still hasn't won a race but people still say he'll win the WDC sometime down the line... Stop comparing uncomparable factors its annoying...
