GO KIMIIII....
Re: Weekly Poll: Michael Schumacher or Fernando Alonso
I voted yes, cause i know he could do it, i'm cobnfident in him, anyway he said it on f1.com that he is very confident heading to magny-gours in france, and he said he thinks that the real challenge for the tilte starts at france. and same thing said massa about ferrari, so seems ferrari are doing better than before, hope so, and go KIMI, go MASSA.

Re: Weekly Poll: Michael Schumacher or Fernando Alonso
I believe that he will be better but I'm not sure how much time he stil needs for it.Maybe to the end of the season when it's a bit too late, he'll win some races. Maybe I'm a bit too negative but I didn't believe in bad luck before I became a Kimi's fan.
Re: Weekly Poll: do u think Kimi can win the 2007 season???
hmmm....let's see;
series leader: L.HAMILTON - 58 points
K.RAIKKONEN - 32 points
difference: 26 points
races left: 10
max points: 1st place 100
max points: 2nd place 80
max points: 3rd place 60
max points: 4th place 50
max points: 5th place 40
max points: 6th place 30
max points: 7th place 20
max points: 8th place 10
even if kimi won all the remaining races, for as long as lewis finished second in all of them, the final standing would be 138 points for lewis and 126 points for kimi.
it's not even halfway through the championship, let's see what happens. although im a mclaren fan, i would not mind to see kimi win the championship...anyway he was a former mclaren driver and i think it's a bit long overdue for him to be a formula 1 champion. he had a shout in 2003, but i think he had the best shot of winning in the 2005 season, he just had a lot of bad luck as well as a teammate behind him that always squandered a sure 2nd place finish.

I m sure he will improve, but I'm also sure that he will not win the championship.
It's not the points distance that make me say so, but the car difference.

i also wanted to point out the car difference, but i dont want to jinx mclaren , as of the second free practice, ferrari's were first and second, the mclarens about half a second behind........i don't want to think that they're slow but are instead set up with a heavy fuel load or have a wet weather setup. then again, i dont want to jinx it
Re: Weekly Poll: do u think Kimi can win the 2007 season???
I would love to think yes after all i know he can drive well. But he has to be comfortable in the car before he starts winning and at the minute i don't think his comfortable in the car. But i hope that will all change
Re: Weekly Poll: do u think Kimi can win the 2007 season???
Absolutely impossible to win the title, he would need to take 20 points on EACH McLaren driver, and we know that both are the most consistant ones on the grid. And he would also have to steal points on his team mate who's being better at the moment. So impossible to win.
Alonso, future 5 times world champion
Re: Weekly Poll: do u think Kimi can win the 2007 season???
yes (= maybe im imparcial cos he is my idol but anyway... he had won 2 conseqtives races... it seems he is finding the right set up (=
Re: Weekly Poll: do u think Kimi can win the 2007 season???

Re: Weekly Poll: do u think Kimi can win the 2007 season???
yes.definitely...he'll win it convincingly

I REALLY hope, that Kimi will have a chance to fight for the championship. Little less bad luck, and it should be possible! Without having technical problems or bad luck, Ferrari seems to be quicker than McLaren. Of course it depends on the track, but the tendence is more for Ferrari. Looks like, it will be very close fight between Kimi, Lewis an Fernando.
Interesting how the quality of a driver is connected to the results in media, without mentioning the car. In 2005 for example, nearly the whole Press lifted Kimi to a throne beeing the best active driver, but only a few months later; the 2006 McLaren was not good enough to fight for the WC; they destroyed the monument "Iceman", they had build before. Most of the mass-media F1-reporting has not much to do with serious sports-journalism, but yellow-press.

Re: Weekly Poll: do u think Kimi can win the 2007 season???
The race at the Nurburgring certainly didn't help. If he has perfect reliability for the rest of the year, I think he could still do it, but it's going to be really, really tough. I can't believe that McLaren's reliability is better than Ferrari's this year -- at least in the races.
