2007 FORMULA One British Grand Prix
Re: 2007 FORMULA One British Grand Prix
I'm hoping for a Ferrari win, preferably Massa. Realistically I think a Mclaren will win the race. From what I have read the Ferraris are not too good aerodynamically when running behind another car and Hamilton is more than good enough to go quick while blocking.

Yeah but you can play hide and seek in F1 but really I hope its going to rain than we can get a real spectaculer gp with great action, maybe even a race like on the Hungaronring in 2006 who knowsiceman1 wrote:Alonso admitted he felt comfortable with the car, and he is hopeful he will be able to beat the two cars in front tomorrow.
i think kimi will win bcz he was the fastest all the week.
Raikkonen and Hamilton were both slower than Alonso and Massa after the first hot laps..
Pole is very important here but we'll see the start of the race what kimi and Alonso can do :

When Felipe Massa peeled off into the pits lane for the second time during the French Grand Prix, Ferrari team-mate Kimi Raikkonen remained on track for a crucial three more laps before making his second and final pitstop.zack wrote:completely underestimating Massaiceman1 wrote:Kimi might again have 1-2 laps more fuel than Massa
From a two second deficit, Raikkonen emerged from the pits with a two second advantage over Massa and controlled the pace to the chequered flag.
Massa for one believes the race was his for the taking were it not for Raikkonen's good fortune.
"I cannot say I am unhappy to end up second, having been in the lead for much of the race," Massa began. "In fact I am happy to have contributed to a Ferrari one-two, the first time I have done this with Kimi. But, I am just a little bit disappointed that I was not the one in front at the end of the race.
"
"Everything worked perfectly that afternoon, except that, at the key moment in the race I was not very lucky and last Sunday, Kimi had all the lucky points in his hands," Massa continued. "That's the way it goes sometimes."
"In qualifying he gained an extra lap being the first man out, then at the start of the race he was lucky to pass Hamilton and then he was lucky I got stuck in traffic. That is why I could not win the race, but apart from that I was quickest all weekend, taking pole position and the fastest lap in the race. Unfortunately, luck was not on my side..."
Massa, Raikkonen, Hamilton and Alonso all now have two wins each heading to the British Grand Prix.
Re: 2007 FORMULA One British Grand Prix
poor kimi he had pole in the bag. He made the little mistake in the last corner and STILL made provisional pole before lewis trumped him. He would have smoked both Lewis and fernando by over a second I reckon if that didn't happen. Anyone else feel the same way?
Re: 2007 FORMULA One British Grand Prix
is just one race enough to conclude anything such?
Kimi has Chris Dyer on his side,MS's race engineer you would think the better options compared to who Massa has.
they take advantage of 10% rule in Q3!

Haug said that Alonso is heavy. So, Alonso will be dangerous for Kimi in two ways: either on starting or in pit stop strategie
Re: 2007 FORMULA One British Grand Prix
well, Kimi made a mistake at the end of his qualifying lap and was still able to obtain 2nd place. in other words, mistakes aside, he could have done a superb lap. he seemed to get along pretty well with the car right from the first free practice.
Re: 2007 FORMULA One British Grand Prix
that mistake can cost him win today

Re: 2007 FORMULA One British Grand Prix
mistake cost kimi pole.... but hopefully he has better strategy to win the race.... FINGER CROSSED.. :T:@

i believe his only concerns should be car reliability and avoiding collisions at the start of the race.zack wrote:that mistake can cost him win today

Re: 2007 FORMULA One British Grand Prix
I don't know if you're a bit anti-Kimi but anyway what others say about Kimi's achievements means nothing. It doesn't matter if he won the last race by luck. And now he will prove again how good he is by coming second or even winning the race. And in the next races I see him winning more than any others, compared to Alonso who got scared of his teammate and is very weak mentally, without any chance of making a comeback. You see, Alonso is going down as the season unfolds, while Kimi is doing better with every race. And Massa is on the same downhill slope as Alonso, fortunately.zack wrote:is just one race enough to conclude anything such?
